So, the Bunny has gotten things set up for a nice little alcohol fueled party. There's an Ipod attached to a boombox for music, a nice cleared spot for dancing, some hijacked foods for eating, and, of course, the booze.

The Booze is laid out in row after row of wonderfully full bottles. It starts with the cheap stuff, and gets gradually better. But the good stuff, the long aged, good brewed, never tapped stuff, is in the five barrels the Bunny is currently sitting on. He's got a glass of cheap in front of him, just to start things off right.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and assorted creatures! I give you, booze! But, I am not one to give things away for free. And money ain't worth shit no more. So, instead I ask of you, a simple thing. A joke, a toast, a tale or a song, any two of these, and you can drink all night. All four, and we crack open the casks. Lay on!"

Jack bows his head, and lifts his drink in a toast for them.

"I dare not think of the trouble my crew are getting into without my sage advice."

Angela raises her glass as well and smiles. "Well, at least we'll know we're missed."

"Aye," Jack agrees, and for some reason he smiles when he says, "as long as they last."

Angela looks a bit confused. "Hmm? What do you mean by that?"

"I mean my mates are lost without their compass," Jack says cheerfully. "And that's me."

"Oh," she says, grinning. "I'm nobody's compass. So my family should get along just fine."

She's only half-joking. She knows it probably isn't true, either.

Jack knows that as well. He also doesn't want to get too depressing about it.

"Their loss is to our benefit, I'd say."

"Yeah," she says, keeping the grin. "So...what'd you do on your world? Sailor?"

"Oh aye," Jack confirms. "The Alethea was my ship. LeFevre my captain."

"I...don't think I've ever been on a boat--not a big one anyway--before."

She's paused in her drinking. This is a very good thing, actually.

Jack will let that happen. He's distracted by boat talk.

"Nothing like it," he says firmly. "The freedom of the open sea, no laws except that of nature herself. It's the greatest thing in life."

"I used to feel like that when I was surfing. Even if the ride didn't last very long mostly."

Unless she was doing very well.

"Aye, something like that," Jack agrees. "It's the travelling, too."

"Where have you been? That's...assuming you're from any world that I recognize, of course."

She grins. She keeps forgetting that not everyone is from the same place.

"Nay, you won't recognise the places," Jack says. "I was born in Brythony, spent most of my adult life sailing the Pelagics."

"Nope, I don't recognize that. You must miss it, being here."

"Nay, not a beat," Jack contradicts, happily. "Miss my mates, of course. Will always miss people who I travelled with. The wheres mattered not a drop to me, ever."

Angela nods. "Yeah. I miss my friends and family, too."

She'd give up everything else to see them one last time, really.

"But this world is so fun!"

Jack's grinning from ear to ear suddenly.

"So much to explore, so many people. I could never grow bored here."

She grins. "No, it's definitely not dull. Kinda scary, but not dull."

"Scared is just another way of saying 'alive'."

She raises a finger. "You've got a point there."

Adrenaline is a pretty good high. Maybe not as good as pot, but...yeah, we won't go there.

Jack smirks, and spreads his hand. "I know about which I talk."

He usually does, anyway.

Angela nods. "Just not used to...you know, battling zombies."

That freaked her out a little.
