Jordan was very politely giving her traveling companion time alone with the guy they'd just found who is apparently her husband.
'Very politely' meaning she walked a mile or so down the road, played fetch with Journey, went through a few training exercises, and tried to see if her hunting dog could actually do any hunting.
That takes a while. But once Jordan realizes Journey can find the animals but sucks at actually catching them, she quickly devises a sort of system that gets the dog to show her which direction to point her gun in and shoots.
A few hours later, she's awfully proud of herself. Journey is chowing down on some trailmix and there are two rabbits hung by the ears over a makeshift rack while Jordan makes up a fire. She wouldn't have killed so many but she has a feeling Ai-Ling and Miki will be pretty hungry by the time they drag themselves out of his tent.
