The Aerie One is a common enough sight at the Cooper farm - it barely raises an eyebrow for a massive jet to use the remaining roads as a runway, not when there's still a castle and a cruise ship towering over the fields.

Zinda is lounging in a deck chair by the fold-out stairs, in a very glamorous but utterly impractical bikini, with a giant pair of sunglasses and a cocktail.

Her cocktail has an umbrella in it. It's traditional.

Dinah leans on the back of Zinda's chair, and helps herself to the cherry.

"I will shoot you, sister. Don't think I won't."

Stern Zinda is stern! Also, slurping.

"Yeah, and then I'll be shot and you'll hate yourself forever."

Dinah is very upset that she's ruined their friendship.

"How's life for my favourite flygirl?"

"I," Zinda announces, "am on vacay."

She slurps her drink.

"That, and O hasn't got any refugees need flying anywhere this week. So I'm here where the fresh cherries are."

"You'd be here where the fresh cherries are if you weren't on vacay and just between missions," Dinah points out.

She straightens, and looks around.

"Don't you have any other deckchairs?"

"In the aft hold," Zinda says, tipping back and adjusting her sunglasses to grin at Dinah. "You have any missions?"

Exaggerated whisper: "Don't tell O, but I'm gettin' the wee-est bit bored."

Dinah's not there! She's heading towards the hold.

- no, wait, she is there. And she's setting up her own deckchair, trying to decide if she's too old to sunbathe in just her bra.

Oh what the hell, it's not like the shirt she was wearing a second ago left anything to the imagination.

"Nothing. Babs is so excited about getting new infrastructure up that she's neglecting her best friends. I despair of the girl."

Zinda wolf-whistles at her, because it's obligatory.

"Skipper needs a break," she decides, and looks thoughtful. "D'you think we can convince her to come to Hawai'i?"

Dinah tolerates the wolf-whistle and treats Zinda to a saucy wink.

"I'm certain we can. Whether we can convince her not to take her computers, I don't know.

"This might call for a kidnapping."

"I think you might be right!"

Grinny Zinda is grinny, and far too excited about this.

"I'll hide the computers if you wrestle her into the plane." This is a good deal, right?

"Hey, why do I have to be the one risking physical injury?"

"You're the prettiest," Zinda points out sweetly. (This is only ever said when she wants something.)

"Ooh, or - you know where Nightwing's swinging these days? Betcha he could get her outta her chair."

A small blond boy runs out of the farmhouse and over to the Aerie.

"Hello."

"I don't think we want her out of her chair," Dinah points out. "Just the chair in a prettier place."

"No, no, definitely out. Skipper's got all sorts of computers plugged into that thing. We want her in a deckchair on the beach," Zinda says firmly.

"Heyyyy!" Zinda sits up and tilts down her sunglasses to peer at him, and grins. "You're looking well."

"OK," Dinah agrees.

"I'm sure Nightwing's fluttering about somewhere round here. Think he'll bring his sidekick?"

"He's got a sidekick now?" Zinda lifts one eyebrow. "Who?"

"Oh you've seen her," says Dinah, having no idea if this is true or not. "Little Chinese girl, dressed like a Robin, follows him everywhere he goes?"

"Oh, that one? I liked her," Zinda says, grinning. "She's got spunk. She's invited, if she wants t'be."

"I'll make sure he knows," Dinah says.

"And Hal. Green Lantern's coming too."

So there.

"Green Lantern's here?" Zinda brightens. "Why haven't I seen 'im? What's he doin'?"

"I think he's meeting all the young women on the farm," Dinah suggests.

"Don't worry, your turn will come."

Zinda laughs. "Ooh, I hope so."

Awkward silence that lasts a beat.

"...OK, but I never want to hear about it."
