Tom has been exploring the grounds all day - which involved lots of sunbathing and staring up at the sky, watching clouds drift and hawks soar. It's good to be out in the open. It's good to have nothing to do.
But now he has something to do. Because there's one of those metal things. He slowly opens the front door and looks around, instantly wary and on alert.
