Sam is being musical.

Which is to say he's up on the roof of the farmhouse with a leaf at his lips playing a slow, pleasant tune. He does that a lot. It's a thing.

"True." Sam says, agreeably, wandering closer.

And for his efforts, he gets one of Josh's hands around the back of his neck as she kisses him. Very, very soundly.

Sam is pleased by this development, and happy to return the kiss.

Returning things is important, after all.

Things given are returned two-fold, and all of that. So, yes. Very important. Which is why Josh is smiling as she breaks it.

"Feeling better?"

"Much. I'll go check on those curries."

"If you must."

"I must." Solemnly. "Be right back."

"Mmm, 'kay."

Sam returns after a few moments, attempting to balance plates on each hand.
"Curry." Gesturing with his head.

"Eee, thank you!" She lifts a plate out of his hands and floats it over to her.

"No problem."

Mmm, curry, curry, curry...

Hot, shmot. Okay, maybe someone's just been raised in Morocco. Thus, he gets a smirk.

She gets a slightly baleful look in response.

"'S hot."

"'s nice."

"Spicy." Sam protests.

"Some like it hot, you know."

"That's why vindaloos were created."

"Need some?"

"Vindaloo? No."

"Just checking."

"Important, that."

"Details, details, the world is run on itsy-bitsy details."

"Details overcomplicate things. Sometimes it's better to paint in broad strokes."
