Intuition is in the Cooper household kitchen, celebrating her recent acquisition of an actual bed with a pineapple and a grin.

She'd almost certainly like to talk to you, whoever you are.

"Thanks!"

She beams. Inty's GOOD at beaming.

"I'm Intuition," she explains cheerfully. "It's very nice to meet you, Steph."

...She's not so good at remembering who has actually told her their name and who hasn't.

Steph gives her a slightly odd look. "... Intuition? Is that a description or a name?"

She doesn't sound any less enthusiastic, though. Because OMG SHINY.

"Both."

Beaming again.

"I'm a little bit abstract."

"That's cool," Steph says, and means it. She comes over to investigate the pineapple possibilities, grinning. "So I don't need to introduce myself, then. Awesome to meet you!"

"You're not upset that I know your name already!"

In this house, that's a serious rarity. Cue (c'mon, like you didn't know) beaming.

"The pineapples are fresh," she explains with offhanded authority. "I'm not sure exactly when they were brought in, but they're very delightful."

Many things are very delightful to Inty these days. She's like a little bundle of rainbow-tinted cheer.

"Well, it's not like it's my fault, is it?" Steph says, grinning at her happily. "Batman wouldn't even yell at me for that. Are they -- is anyone allowed to eat them? I was on a world before where we haven't had fresh fruit for, like, a year. I want to soak in it."

"Yes, we're allowed." Inty grins. "Here, have some of mine." And a slice of pineapple is held out to Steph.

"The person who owns this house is very fond of fresh fruit. You're going to be eating a lot of it."

Steph's smile gets THIS BIG.

"That," she informs Inty, through a mouthful of pineapple, "is the best news I have heard in a million years."

Swallow, chew. Grinning again!

"Oh, man, I am so glad to be here. So -- what's your world like, where are you from? Is everyone awesome and abstract and rainbowy?"

"Nope."

Beam!

"I'm the only abstract-and-rainbowy one there. Everyone else is concrete. But there are plenty of awesome people!"

Inty is starting to like the word awesome. She thinks she should start using it more often.

"Awesome people are awesome," Steph says with a grin, and somewhere on another plane of existence longcat twitches in its sleep. At least she doesn't go on to add protip: awesome word is awesome!

"What are the people like here? I don't know anyone really yet, except Shay, he's kind of adorable, isn't he? And I met Clark and Lucy, but I don't really know them. And now you."

Steph's method of assimilating herself into a new world: assume everyone is her BFF!

"You should meet Gabriel!"

Is that a blush in amidst the beaming? Why yes. Yes it is.

"He is awesome."

"Oooh, is he your boyfriend?" Steph grins, although this time it's a little less blindingly bright.

Steph's boyfriend is back in Eden.

not that she really likes him that much anyway.

"Yes!" Beam.

The beam deflates a little, and she adds, "I'm sorry yours isn't here." Even if she doesn't really like him that much.

Steph blinks at her.

"Are you reading my mind?"

She tries very hard not to think of Sokka. (Not that thinking of boyfriends would bring Sokka to her mind anyway, because he isn't. And that's okay, you know. It's not like she likes him or anything. He's just really fun to hang around and waste time with and she's going to miss him something rotten. Maybe this worldhopping thing isn't so fun. Even though there's fruit here.)

... with predictable results.

"No."

She looks slightly sad.

"I just know things."

Dammit, why does everyone have to have that reaction?

"Oh. I didn't say it was a bad thing," Steph tries to reassure. "It's not ... like you mean it, or anything."

"...Sorry."

Intuition shrugs.

"I can't help it."

Steph puts an arm around the rainbowy girl's shoulders and pats her. "I still think you're awesome," she informs her.

Steph doesn't have much concept of personal space.

That's okay; neither does Inty!

She beams and cuddles Steph, good cheer restored.

"I think you're awesome, too," she confides happily.

(Just not as awesome as Gabriel, but then, is anyone?)
