Road Trip - Kansas

A certain electric sports car can be found, finally arriving in Kansas.

By this point, its occupants will probably be very, very pleased to see anybody other than...well, each other.

(Also, Faith suspects that Wendell will be glad not to have to be a rat anymore. Er.)

They're getting close to a certain farm, so they're easily intercepted.

Faith is, to say the least, irritable.

"Look, see, there's the sign, Smallville."

She may, privately, be wondering if they're going to meet Clark Kent, but she refrains from saying anything aloud.

And after she actually gets to the farm, the Slayer is glomped by a white haired witch. "Faith! Oh, goddess, it's so good to see you!" She's on better terms with her Faith then in the normal scheme of things.

"Hey, Willow..."

Faith returns the hug, highly bemused.

"It's....good to see you too."

Beat.

"Are we....friends in your world?"

Willow gets a bit of a woobie face at the 'your world.' This isn't her Faith. She brushes her white hair from her eyes to smile up at Faith. "Close ones, after the whole Sunnydale Hellmouth mess."

"....huh. That's....that's new. I'm stationed in Cleveland, and you and your girlfriend are somewhere in Brazil last I heard....we haven't really gotten a chance to bond or anything."

Willow takes a a few strands of her hair in her hands, braiding them. "You were one of the bridesmaids at my wedding."

".....wedding?"

Jawdrop.

"You and Kennedy got hitched?"

"Who's Kennedy?"

".....wow. Definitely a different world. She's, uh...a Slayer. Long story, but don't worry, Buffy's still alive and everything."

Beat.

"In my world, you and Kennedy are....tight."

"Oh, yeah, her! One of the slayer-ettes." Willows brushes a hand through her white hair. "There's so many of them, I have trouble keeping them straight. Xanders always been better at the names then me."

"Last I heard you and she were in Brazil. Probably doing fascinating things to each other's bodies. Kennedy's got a pierced tongue."

Now Faith's just checking Willow's blush reflex.

This Willow has been married to Xander for three years. That whole blush thing? totally taken care of. "Xander suggested we try once, but Kennedy always seemed more interested in Buffy, so we gave it a pass."

"...wow. You're definitely not my Willow, she'd have turned red and probably smacked me upside the head for saying that."

Faith grins, wryly. "Of course we're not exactly friends in my world so I probably wouldn't have said that to her anyway. For fear of, you know, being turned into something unpleasant."

Beat.

"Like a boy."
