Metropolis is basically, yeah, Zinda's favourite place. It's hopping with life, people and parties and shops, and it's crammed full of folk who know the world's ended and just want to party.

Which suits the Birds fine.

Chaney's is a well-known meta club in Zinda's world, and apparently that much held true through the apocalypse; the inside is crammed full of humans and metas both, dancing and drinking and making a hell of a lot of noise. Zinda would really kinda like to be inside with them. Where the hell's the rest of her party?

Goldy and Claire should be out of the bathroom any time soon. Dinah and Babs are still off somewhere doin' something. It's not like Spoiler and her Not-My-Boyfriend-Zinda-Okay to be late for a rendezvouz; vaguely, Zinda's beginning to worry for anyone in their immediate vicinity, should they have found trouble. But everyone'll turn up soon, surely.

In the meantime: there's a tall, statesque blonde in uniform with a ridiculously short skirt, leaning on the bricks outside Chaney's and surreptitiously lighting a cigarette while the Skipper's not around.

"That's because you, Lady Blackhawk, are a fickle little harpy," Dinah says, with oodles of love.

"You better believe we would. She belongs in Oracle's band of displaced heroines. Look at everything she did for Helena."

Undid most of Batman's damage, for one.

"And you know it." Zinda grins cheerfully. "So tell me why she stays on the farm half the time, then? -- okay, apart from that boy."

"The kids?" Dinah guesses. "I don't know. It's not like no one's told her to stay behind. She has a job in Smallville as well."

"I like seein' her happy," Zinda says cheerfully. "Almost as much as I hate seein' the Skipper lonely. Think she's had any luck yet?"

"Babs?"

Dinah shrugs. "I'm more worried that she got too much luck, freaked out at it and has floored half the bar."

Zinda laughs. "We better get back to rescue those poor men. I want her to leave some for us."

"Yes please," Dinah agrees. "So how was your day?"

Zinda glances around, and shakes her head.

"I got no clue how you put up with that woman for a week, Canary," she admits, with a grin. "Claire's a hero for not complaining, not even once."

"Oh please," Dinah says. "I lived with Green Arrow. On an annoying scale, she doesn't even rate."

Zinda snorts with laughter. "Did Green Arrow force you to try on leopard-print thongs? -- Wait, I don't even want to know the answer to that."

Too late, Zinda Blake.

Dinah leans closer. "And tiger print. And zebra stripes."

"La la, I can't hear a damn thing!"

Zinda has her fingers in her ears, which is why.

"And once," Dinah adds, putting her hands over Zinda's to pull them away, "they were crotchless."

"I hate you. No, I really think I hate you."

"You love me." Dinah gives Zinda a tight squeeze. "Why else would you babysit so me and Babs could have special girltime?"

"So I can fly your plane," Zinda says, grinning and squeezing back. "Why else?"

"Which reminds me," says Dinah. "You and me are going on a vacation. I wanna check out some records in certain cities around the world. Anywhere you really wanna go?"

"Hmmm... Egypt," Zinda suggests. "I always wanted to see the Pyramids."

"Sounds good," Dinah says. "Cause I have a huge list and I need you to fly me everywhere."

"Only for you, chickadee."
