Another day, another patrol. Keeping up high was tricky with all the rubble. She wasn't sure if some buildings survived, or were somehow brought in like Hogwarts. Likely the latter. At least the triffids were avoiding the sea, though whether that was because of sea creatures or something else she wasn't sure.
Fire arrows seemed to work really well, but dodging those damn stingers of theirs was tricky. Sometimes she had to dive into the subways, or under rubble to try to avoid them. And for slow moving plants, they can attack pretty damn fast. There had been some recent dents in them, likely that Rachel's work, but now they were regrouping again. Not good. And she wanted to get some headway into reducing their numbers before she could head back to the castle to rest.
