something comes out of the building, smacking his head on the door lintel in the process.

Ludo turns to look at him plaintively.

"Ludo hungry."

"Ludo have any money?" Cross arms, glare. Knees shaking under the trousers.

"...money?" he says blankly, putting a hand on Crobat's shoulder reassuringly.

"To pay for..." He starts a gesture, but gives up and just hides his face in one hand.

"Out!"

"C- cro..." Crobat is willing to take that escape route.

Crobat wants to leave. Ludo shoots one longing glance at the wreckage of the buffet table, with what's left of the food, then turns sadly and lumbers towards the door.

"Cro! Crobat!" It is a place nearby! Well, nearby as the Crobat uses Fly, anyway.
