Dinah didn't have much success in her seaching for Dean Winchester, so in the end she decided to accompany Zinda in the Aerie One to Frankfurt. The telecommunications tower proves easy enough to find, and there's a nice big road in front of it, but it's the shiny looking car that catches the eye of the Black Canary first.
"OK, this car is a total babe magnet."

Explains what Oracle was saying.
"Black Canary," she adds, raising her voice so it carries to the other woman. "You're Innovator? Pleasure to meet you."
When she gets a nod from the Innovator, it's back to Sam.
"I don't think I'd forgive myself if we didn't take it back. I'm sure Lady Blackhawk would agree."

"Great," he says, releasing Dinah's hand with a smile and moving back to reach for Leah's hand - after tossing his sleeping back into the back seat of the Porsche. "So where in Kansas are we going exactly?"
no subject
"It's right in the middle of the state. Will you guys be OK? Need me to carry anything? I need to move my bike to let you in."
no subject
"OK, so what does she look like?" she asks.
no subject
And stacked with fantastic legs.
"She's got a leather costume on." Sam hesitates and then grins, glancing at Leah and saying under his breath, "Superhero, see."
no subject
"It's kevlar," she says to Leah. "And what he's not telling you about is the fishnets. Guys never seem comfortable around the fishnets."
She starts the engine and drives forward a few feet so the bike's out of the way of the main hold, leaving space for the Porsche. It's an empty room they're standing in now, but a door to one side suggests that there's more to the plane.
no subject
"Yeah, she's the type of people I know. It's all about the style."
no subject
(he's totally glancing at those fishnets, though)
"You want to stay here a second?" he asks Leah, giving her hand a small squeeze. "I'm just gonna drive the car into the plane."

When Dinah joins her, she says: "It works, though, doesn't it?"
no subject
Dinah leans against the wall, easily taller than the blind girl and completely casual around her.
"Oracle says you're in the business. A good suit can pre-empt all sorts of fighting."
By the time Sam's out of his car, they're laughing together.
no subject
Two pretty superheroes laughing with each other makes him grin just as easily as it makes him uneasy. He has a lot of questions to ask but he'll wait until they're done.

"...and he's got this ridiculous floppy hair thing going on," she says, as if continuing from a description. "Looks like he's growing it out."
She doesn't offer help to the blind girl, primarily because she's been trained out of helping people like that by Barbara's attitude.
no subject
"You get parked OK?"
no subject
Now he has to hesitate and lift a hand to his hair self-consciously, frowning a little. Of course, they might not be talking about him, bust..
His hair is totally not ridiculous, damn it.
"Yeah, it'll be fine," he replies after a moment, coming hesitantly to Leah's side without reaching for her. She'll be able to sense him there, he knows, and reach if she'd like to. "Parking brake's on so it won't slide."
no subject
She does reach for his arm when she gets a sense of him being nearby, and settles herself lightly, ready to - well, not be led, but for guidelines as to where to go.
"I'm guessing there's somewhere more comfortable for transatlantic flying?"
no subject
Dinah catches Sam's eye in order to nod towards the door.
"We're fully equipped. There's a minibar and everything."
Heading in that direction, she adds, "we couldn't trace Dean, Sam. But no sign of him having left town either. He's helping a friend on a project. Would he leave without filling him in?"
Sam would know his brothet better than her, after all.
no subject
He's following Dinah where she leads, pausing if Leah seems unsure about footing or surroundings.
no subject
She leads them up into a comfortable passenger room, with seats and a wealth of computer equipment. In the cockpit, another blonde salutes them.
"Let's head home, Lady Blackhawk."
no subject
People.
