It's a regular caravan that shows up at Metropolis today.

Vehicle One: The Coraline, a modifies pick-up truck being driven by everyone's favourite bloodthirsty pirate, with a distinctly anti-killing ex-Robin in the passenger seat. The ghost of a teenage girl is technically sitting on the roof of the cabin, but sometimes she pokes her head in to interrupt the boys in their conversation.

Vehicle Two: A 1967 Chevrolet Impala, the only one blaring out tunes, while the driver and his blonde passenger sit in relative silence, not having much to say to each other.

Vehicle Three: A Porsche, containing one carefully prepared hunter and one blind woman who prides herself on not needing any preparation. The conversation in that one is a little more lively, even containing the occasional laugh from the girl.

It's a ridiculous procession, considering they don't really know where they're going. But Jack has all six of his senses peeled, looking for a young teenage girl of Chinese origin who isn't a young teenage girl of Chinese origin.

Well, she could explain exactly what she meant by psychics, but she assumes he's just being thinky and looking out for the girl.

"Course, a few more paras on the team'd make things easier," she continues. "Could do with a teleporter, right?"

'Teleporter' gets a surprised look. That's an ability he hasn't come across yet.

"I don't know," Sam says a moment later, shrugging. "Sometimes you find things on the way to where you think you're going. Skipping that, we could miss a lot."

"Yeah, and all we're doing now is searching."

She shrugs, hugging her bow again. "Should of nagged Oracle into getting survellance up."

"Unless a teleporter could focus on a person and not just a location, we'd be searching no matter what," Sam points out, following Jack's truck and slowing at the same alley the truck had slowed at, frowning at the shadows. He wants to see what was so interesting in there.

Finding out (http://community.livejournal.com/shatterverse/237473.html?thread=14833825#t14833825) doesn't make him feel much better, really.

"Looks like Jack's getting out," he mutters, following the Impala and watching the blonde man jump out of his truck.

Oh no, she's not going to let him slow and look without filling her in.

"What did you see?" she asks quickly.

"A mess."

Sam details the scene, monotone, slowing the car to stop behind Impala and get out with the rest. "But no one stopped in that alley, so it might not have anything to do with Jubilee."
