arrival
A gate opens and slams shut again in an instant as a man in green comes tumbling through, carrying an equally green object in one hand.
Hal Jordan has his in-flight balance back in just over a second, narrowly missing impact with the expressway beneath him. He rights himself in mid-air, and makes a gentle touchdown on... Earth?
Well. It looks like Earth. But his ring is emitting a barrage of tech-speak, all of which could be summed up by a very heated, 'WTF?!?!'.
Not a good sign, Hal figures, but hardly the first time that's happened, so he's far from worried. After all, whatever happens next, he's pretty sure it won't be boring.

"Well, if they're bringing all of us here, they're not very smart or they're overconfident. Could break our way either case."
"Has anyone set up a headquarters yet?"

Tim keeps his eyes on the road.
"I have a Batcave." Just not a very good one. "The Birds are up at the Cooper Farm."

He has a good idea just who this Batman might be, but Hal will let it go as long as 'Batman' wants it to. If there was one thing Hal knew about that costume, it was that no matter who wore it, they didn't like getting pushed.
He doesn't bother asking whether the two locations are well-defended either. He knows they will be.
"Sounds like you're on top of things."

Hal might not know this one.
"Prime."

He wish he didn't know him. But Prime was hard to miss in the Sinestro War.
"One is plenty if it's him."
There's no fear, of course. But there is anger, and Hal stops to force it down again. He's been learning just how well rage can pose a threat nearly as bad as fear.

"If he's not making trouble, fine. Sounds like there are plenty of civilians around needing our help more."
"But I can't say I'm happy about him being here."

"I can't see Prime pulling that off. That's--."
"Maybe Darkseid...."
A few seconds pass, and then Hal smirks. "Guess I can't complain about this place not giving us a good challenge."

"Thanks for the lift." A moment later Hal is hovering.
"Guess I'll be seeing you around."

All right, things just got more interesting.
FINE! Things got a little bit more interesting then they were before, given a world that was probably too interesting to begin with.
