Jo's feeling more like herself. Right now, that means she's restless.
As much as she's missed feeling restless, it's such a restless feeling. She's pacing, flipping the smaller dagger in her right hand back and forth, over and through her fingers, in a motion she's not even paying attention to. She knows this feeling. She knows where it's heading.
And she's just masochistic enough (again .. finally) to be debating between drawing it out, holding it off, waiting out the game of the thunder waking up in her veins more each day, until she snaps or going out and finding a fight now.

Rachel's tried to be good. She actually did clean the apartment, and bitched at Tobias until he morphed human and helped. She's worked on her gymnastics. She's gone over their small collection of belongings and done upkeep. She shopped a little more, in the nearby mall. She even found an abandoned car and gave herself some more driving lessons.
That took about two days.
Five more to go. At least.
Tobias is off hunting. It's the only time in the last few days when they haven't been together. She left a note saying she was going out, and had actually considered going shopping, just to create some sort of alibi.
Then she remembered that there are other people who fight without extra abilities, she knows a few of them, and one of them promised to bring her along as she retrieved what she lost.
Which is why Rachel is on Jo's doorstep, visibly agitated, hands in the pockets of her jacket and eyebrows lifted, expectant and impatient. The door opens and her first words are:
"I need to do something."

"Did i miss the notice of being the day's entertainment?"

It's a challenge as much as a question. Rachel isn't looking for a shopping partner.
