When a man's an empty kettle.
He should be on his mettle.
It's amazing what boredom can drive a person to do. In this case, Jono has found that there is remarkably little to do when stranded in post-apocalyptic, invisible monster filled Blackpool. Since neither he nor Johriel eat, there's no need to search for food. Neither of them sleep, so there's no need to pass the time by sleeping.
And yet I'm torn apaaaaaart.
They've been there four days now.
In Jono's case, he's resorted to telepathically singing at Johriel in the most annoying way he possibly can. He presumes her reactions will be amusing.
Just because I'm presumin'
That I could be kinda human.
Pressing a hand to his chest: If I only had a heeeaaaart.
