Most people were not exactly pleased to find themselves plucked from home and dropped into a new, strange, and dangerous world. Those who were pretty pleased had one thing in common: in one manner or another, they were getting laid.
Needless to say, Angelo is quite pleased with Kansas at the moment.
It doesn't mean he likes the country, though. He's a city boy through and through and Snow Valley had been bad enough, with the nearest Metropolis a few hours drive. Kansas? Post-apocalyptic Kansas? Not so much with the good or fun or interesting.
But there is a boat. And a giant rock bunker. And also a big hole in the ground. None of which are quite as good as, say, a mall or a movie theater or a club, but still something to wander around outside the Cooper house and look at.

She's very, very cheerful.
And she's also, as it happens, wandering around and looking at things.
Not much surprises her, so when she turns a corner and Angelo is very suddenly there, she's already partway into smiling and waving a (very very cheerful) hello.
Let's just be grateful she remembered her manners enough not to greet him by name, shall we?

But pretty, strange-colored girls waving at him are just fine. After a blink and a bit of leaning back out of surprise, he smirks a little and waves back. "Uh, hey."

Grin. Inty loves meeting new people. Especially nice ones like Angelo.
(Inty's definition of nice is broader than most people's.)

"Angelo," said grey boy replies, with a helpless little smile that Inty may or may not be used to. It's the smile of a person not used to smiling at strangers but finding it impossible to not smile in front of this particular stranger. "Nice t'meet you, too, Intuition."
That's a long, complicated name. It also sounds less like a name and more like a codename.
"It'd be too much t'ask if you were a mutant, eh?"
no subject
"No, I'm not. Sorry."
Slightly apologetic smile.
"I used to be abstract. Now I'm not anymore. "
She doesn't notice the language switch. Inty is often unaware of these things. It should be fairly noticeable to Angelo, however, because a sudden switch from perfectly New York English (thank you, Gabriel) to perfectly L.A. Spanish (that would be yours, Ange) is more than a little jarring despite the completely natural ease with which she does it.

Not that Inty's white.
...well, not all of her.
But brows lift and Angelo's obviously impressed, smirking a little at her. "Strange like slippin' into fluent Spanish without battin' an eye?"

Slightly self-conscious giggle.
"I sometimes forget which language I'm speaking," she explains, ducking her head in a further effort to hide the blush already mostly obscured by her natural coloration (it's moved on to violet-gold-green now). "It's a part of being, well, Intuition. What languages I speak depends on who I'm talking to. I'm glad you're not perturbed by it."

It's just that she also fluently speaks every other language spoken by anyone she's ever met.
And Inty isn't always very good at figuring out what not to mention.
she agrees ruefully.

Beam!
"It's good when people don't do that."
Because when they do it kind of hurts, even though they don't mean it most of the time.

"I bet," he replies, smirking a little. "So you been here a while, too, eh? Any advice on how to keep from bein' totally bored?"
Aside from Inanna.
Despite her excellent distraction techniques.

"I don't get bored," she replies after a thoughtful pause. It's true. She doesn't.
Especially not with Gabriel around. He, too, possesses distraction techniques - though not quite the same as Inanna's, perhaps.
