Val is INCREDIBLY SMUG.

SHE CAN HAS MAKEOUTS.

With the hottest fluffy-haired Irish guy on the damn planet (at least in her opinion, and that's the only one that counts).

Oh, and for the purposes of RP setting, she's sprawled in a huge comfy armchair in the Cooper living room, eating celery with peanut butter. What? It's a snack. Just don't ask where she got the celery. There might have been flying involved.

Suddenly that height difference seems very, very awesome. Because. Lap-based kisses are very, very awesome, and anything that enables them must naturally be viewed in a similar light.

"So," Marley murmurs, once they're done kissing. "Any interesting news? New supervillains? A swimming pool? Stuff like that."

Stephen can has makeouts too! His, however, were with the cutest gargantuan New Yorker ever to grace the explored universe (in his opinion and that of a billion fangirls).

He's emerged from the experience slightly mussed and looking like, if this was a cartoon, little bluebirds would be making dazed circles around his head.

But that doesn't stop him from noticing the smug!
