Ajedrez has managed to gain unbloodstained clothes from...somewhere. Except for the boots. The boots are hers. But the point is, she has gained clothes from somewhere and is sitting on the porch of the Cooper, staring off into the distance with a faint frown.

And, yes, there is a gun on the table next to her.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Joe gives Ajedrez a lopsided grin as he approaches.

A quick grin.

"Speak Spanish?"

"Never even heard of it." Brightly.

"I shouldn't be surprised, should I?"

"You have every right to be surprised." Cheerfully. "My world isn't like most, from what I'm gathering."

"I...haven't gathered much. I've just arrived, really. It was dramatic," and her quiet purr of a voice is wry.

"Tell me about it?" Joe sits down without waiting to be invited.

"I arrived seconds after being shot."

"Nasty. At least you're not looking quite so shot anymore?"

"I was rescued."

"And here was me thinking you spontaneously healed." Joe grins.

"You never know."

"Very true."

She frowns again.

"I think I lost my gun, though. When I came through."

"You appear to have obtained another one, though."

"I had two." Flatly.

"Ah, I see." Bright grin. "I'd offer to give you mine on a loan, but it's not quite the same standard as yours."

"It's not that."

"... Now I'm just confused."

"Sentimental value. My boyfriend gave it to me. Also, it's a damn good gun."

"Oh, right." Joe doesn't have a great understanding of sentimental value. He judges things on how shiny they are.

"Mmm-hmm."

"If you're up for a distraction, we could see what entertainment there is around here." Big grin. "Maybe not much, but looking for it might be fun."

"Yes? If you don't mind that I can't work very fast."

"I'll take extra small steps so that you can keep up." As he stands.
