Ajedrez has managed to gain unbloodstained clothes from...somewhere. Except for the boots. The boots are hers. But the point is, she has gained clothes from somewhere and is sitting on the porch of the Cooper, staring off into the distance with a faint frown.

And, yes, there is a gun on the table next to her.

Habits die hard.

The gun gets a lot more blinking from Will, he's heard of guns since he's been here but never seen one,

"Oh aye, milady. I'm from year o'our lord 1138 so just ne'er 'eard o''em 'fore."

"Ooh, they haven't been invented yet, chico. I'm from the year 2003."

"Chico, are ye Spanish, milady?"

Will's just confused but also taking a break is good.

"Yes...and no. I'm from a former colony of Spain, so I'm half-Spanish."

"Didna know o'Spain 'avin' colonies, milady. Forgive me manners, I'm Will Scarlett o'Nottingham."

She gets a stiff but trying to be elegant bow since she mentioned a colony perhaps so she must be a lady of some sort.

"I currently have an identity crisis. You can call me Ajedrez, though. From the town of Culiacan."

"Ajedrez, pleasure to meet ye."

He does his best with her name but it comes out rather strange with his accent.

"Oh AJ. And, pleased to meet you, too. You can sit, if you want."

"AJ, aye, milady."

Then with a good amount of wincing, Will sits on the steps,

"'ave ye only 'rrived recently?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Oh aye, milady, be ware the wanderin' wood."

"The what?"

Will looks around and points to the Aura forest, wherever it may be at the moment,

"That wood, milady, tis things in there that will 'ttack ye."

"You said wandering..."

"'as been in different places, 'ppears to move, milady."

"...well, fuck."

"Aye, milady, so dinna go in 'less ye've a weapon."

"I'm always armed."

"Aye, good, milady. Fell 'ere without a weapon so been gettin' what I can."

She winces.

"I had mine on me."

He looks down at the bandages on his wrists, "Aye, milady."

"One, at least. I had the other in my head, but I dropped it...I think."

"Oh aye, was strange the moment o'comin' 'ere."
