Gordon is finding the farm an incredibly relaxing place. He's pulling up weeds in the back yard, because it looks like nobody's done it for a while and he's not a man who can sit still on someone else's time.
It's odd; since they broke free of Gotham and he abandoned his city, he should be feeling worse. But he's not.
Maybe there was something to that invisible monster story after all.
He's humming, faintly, under his breath.

Will is a little slow as he kneels down but he does move his hand in the earth a bit.

"...in Sherwood?"

He's not sure what's weeds and what's not, but best to look down so this kind man doesn't see his hurting.

So Will just gets a kind, understanding nod, and Gordon goes on weeding.
"Sounds interesting."

"Forgive my manners, I'm Will Scarlett."
He's slow to offer a hand, not a habit of his time and he's still wearing bandages on his wrists.

The world's ended. Fair enough there's going to be a few crazies around. At least this one's not running through the streets naked with a shotgun.
"My name's Jim, Jim Gordon."

He does see a little of the doubt and something in Jim's eyes this time and Will focuses on the ground again. Though he's thinking, perhaps Jim is seeing how obviously broken he is, after all he's still healing and clearly broken.

"Just a couple of days now," he says, tossing another handful of weed to the small pile at the edge of the yard. "Yourself, Mr Scarlett?"
no subject
Well, then its just Will's own self doubt, he's got a lot of that.

"Aye, sir, 'fore I came 'ere."

Also not talking about what happened is good and he keeps weeding, looking over at Jim again, trying to figure out the kind of man he would be in Nottingham.

"Kansas, anyway. I'm not sure about the rest of the place yet."
no subject
"Aye, sir, most folks seem nice just na like what I'm used to."

"Um nay, sir, or e'en Nottingham."
