During the night, Will and Kate talk, and Sam searches for car parts and works to recover. There's a building on the waterfront in San Francisco, it used to be a fancy restaurant now its just a ruin.

At the moment, its a place to rest with smoke coming out of its chimney while inside Sam, Kate and Will take turns resting and recovering. Alcatraz is quiet across the water and Winter still lays over the city by the Bay.

(OOC: Open to any and all, who you get depends on timezone, so putting up now.)

Will starts bandaging Kate's leg, "I'll be fine just 'urts is all."

This is a lie but she's getting taken care of first.

Venom is finally fairly sure that they won't be attacked again, and so his attention goes to the car. He looks over it for a moment, then glances to Sam. "Are sure this will run?"

She winced a little, and there was a hand to her head. Great, last head injury from the war only healed for her to get another one. Didn't feel as woozy, but standing up a lot might be a problem for the time being.

She sternly said to Will, "You're bleeding too, which means your back's getting checked over after this so we can get away from here."

"It ran just fine on the way here." Sam says.

"Aye, Sam knows 'ow to make it work."

Once he's satisfied Kate's bandaged up, Will works to stand himself and ends up back on the ground, his back hurts.

"Good." Apparently satisfied with that answer, he returns to looking around. Just because they drove off the fairies doesn't mean something else couldn't pop up.

Kate hissed at that, and then went to grab some more bandages.

"Here hold still, your turn now," She sternly said, and carefully lifted the back of Will's shirt to check on his wounds, and re-bandaged them.

Sam looks over at Venom.
"Bet you fifty credits they cuddle and stare adoringly at each other on the way back." Under his breath.

A good amount of them have opened up and there's a slice from the fae sword over top, he hisses slightly in pain but doesn't say anything as she tends to them. Though he does give Sam a small glare at that but its more in fun.

Sam's comment earns a snort of amusement from Venom, but the comment does make him think. He glances over at the car, frowning. "How do you expect everyone to fit?"

Cool glare from Kate toward Sam as she wryly commented, "Says the man who had us sharing seats the whole way here." She finished up securing the bandages as best as she could.

"There, should hold you till they need changing again."

"I offered to give you my seat." Sam beams. To Venom: "And I don't really need a seat. Will and Kate can take one, you can take the other."

"Thank ye, Kate. Are ye sure, Sam, ye should probably rest with the way ye've been coughin'?"

Venom peers at Sam. "And where will you go? The roof?"

She nodded to Will, and another worried look at Sam.

"They're right, you need a seat so you can rest too. We'll just take our time back that's all."

"I need a seat the least - I'm the only one here who can become non-corporeal. What am I going t'do t'sit down? Sit on Venom? No offence, but I'd rather walk."

Will just sighs but gives a nod, "Aye, as long as it won't make ye 'urt more."

Then looks at the car, sitting is not going to be comfortable for his back but at least he'll have Kate.

The non-corporeal thing is good to know-but it makes Venom wonder about something else. "Will you be able to keep up with the car?"

"Can you remain like that for so long? Isn't it dangerous?"

She then glanced off somewhere for a moment, considering something. Can't really see it from here now, but looking toward where Alcatrez was. They could get back that way, and there'd be a diversion to avoid any more attacks.

"Don't know, never tried it. If it gets to be a problem I'll stop, okay? Right now, it'd just be nice t'get away from this place."

"Aye, I agree."

Will's in the car and checking that its all prepared,

"Get in e'eryone, I trust Sam to know what 'e's doin' an farther away from 'ere the better."

"Should we know about any other surprises you found on your way here?" Venom asks as he gets in the car. Forewarned is forearmed, as the saying goes, and if there's any more weirdness to be had on the trip back, he'd like to not be surprised by it.

Kate hadn't got in yet.

"Got an idea. There'd be space for all of you then, and you wouldn't have to worry about any surprises that way."

Sam figures out what she's getting at, after a moment.
"No. Not an option." Beat. "There wouldn't be room for all of us anyway. None of us are small enough to sit on anybody else."

So does Will and even though it hurts, Kate is now on his lap and he starts the engine,

"Get in, Venom, we're leavin'. An Kate, my dear, ye're na goin' into danger alone."
