Sam's probably not looking his best. He's sort of bruised and battered with a lot of bandages and a lot of tears in his coat.

Nonetheless, he doesn't seem to mind too much - Right now he's more concerned with cooking. He can't read the recipe book, so this involves a lot of guesswork. So far, he's mixed together flour, eggs, milk and sugar, but has yet to manage to get it to a doughy consistency.

Botherable.

"That doesn't look too bad." Sam says, eyeing it.

"Aye, think this might work."

Will grabs some chocolate chips and hands the bag over to Sam then the look on his face at the chocolate is of pure glee.

Nom.

(Mmm. Chocolate. Sam looks pleased.)

Will munches on more chocolate as he stares down into the bowl,

"So cookies."

"They're sorta biscuity things." Sam says, sagely.

"Oh aye, but think we 'ave to shape 'em or somethin'. 'rhaps tis a wooden thing to put 'em on."

"Must be one around her somewhere." Sam frowns, searching.

Sadly Will wouldn't know a cookie sheet if it fell on him but he did find a lot of pans and stuff,

"Tis loads o'stuff in 'ere."

Sam gestures at one, mostly randomly.
"That'll do."

There's a lot of clatter as Will get out the pan,

"Will that be big 'nough an where's the oven?"

"Somewhere around here." Sam starts searching.

Ovens look different from Will's time, this might take a while.

"I think I've found it." Sam says, turning a dial.

"Brilliant, where are the bricks an the fire?"

There's a long, amused pause.

"It works a little differently than that."

"Oh, 'ow?"

"I can't say I really know."

"Oh, but ye know 'ow to work it, aye?"

"Yep, don't worry."

"Aye, so dough on the sheet aye?"

Will starts shaping cookies, the balls are of an impressive size.

"Yep." Sam also starts shaping cookies.

Its a messy project but tasty since cookie dough shouldn't go to waste.

Eventually, Sam takes the tray, sliding it into the oven and stepping back.

Beat.
"Shouldn't take long, right?"

"Nay, shouldna."

Already the cookie dough is starting to bubble and change color. In a few minutes the bubbles get bigger.

Sam eyes them.
"Okay, that can't be good." A few moments later, one of the cookies explodes violently.
