Madrox wasn't doing much. Just hanging out on the Cooper farm when suddenly he grabbed his throat and fell to the ground gasping for breath.

Yes... it was a tad dramatic. Then again Jamie isn't one for stoicism when dramatic things happen. ~~That's Cable or Cyclops, Yo.~~

Mel bites her lip thoughtfully, before suggesting, "Probably worth sending a party in to see if they need help, anyway. Check out the situation."

Jamie frowned. "Yeah. I guess we could do that. We'll need to stay under the radar. I just walked into town and they were all ready and waiting for me."

"How do you stay under a werewolf's radar?" Mel remarks, mildly frustrated. "Rutting things can smell you coming."

"I don't know!" Jamie flailed. "Wear musk? Approach downwind? Distract them by releasing a pack of poodles before we get to town? Hey I was just a guy who got killed walking through town! Do I look like Mr. Strategy guy?"

OK, flailing guys don't help. Used to them as Mel is with Sokka as her brother.

"Sokka'll know. He was friends with one back at the apartments. Maybe have some ideas."

She shakes her head,and looks at Jamie again.

"Sorry - you OK? Need anything?"

Oh yeah, now she realises that being killed might be a little traumatic.

"Something seriously high in alcohol content and a- Did you say friends with a werewolf?" Jamie said finally catching up with what Mel just said about Sokka.

"Dunno if there's any inside," Mel says. "I'll look.

"Yeah, we all were. She didn't go around killing any of us or anything."

"A tame werewolf," Jamie said pulling himself up and heading inside. "Why the heck couldn't I have run into one of those?"

Tame.

Mel - walks with him, she doesn't follow, but she eyes him sideways.

OK,he was just killed by one. She guesses shecan cut him some slack.

"She was just people," she says.
