Somewhere over the skies of Metropolis, somebody was flying overhead, and observing everything. Nathan Petrelli's had some weird encounters of late, but that wasn't going to stop him from continuing to do surveillance. And just take advantage of the relatively quiet skies.

Kate Bishop was practicing her archery shots on the Cooper farm, but she was standing further back from the targets than usual. And yet still reaching the target with precision.

Maria Venkman was on the Cooper farm as well now, casually walking around. She's pretty sure there's more around than what it seems like at first. A lot more. Just had to look for it.

Xander Harris was humming something rather poppy as he was currently sawing some pieces of wood also on the farm, and nailing them together. Looked like a storage chest. He will deny any similarities the song has to samples from the latter boy band oeuvre.

Alfred Bester was walking aways from the farm, his head tilted to the side casually. Getting in some exercise, and fresh air he would say. Listening to the background noise of thoughts of the few dwelling around. Amazing what you can learn when people think all their minds are that private.

"Thank you." She placed the arrows back in her quiver, and came over, offering her hand.

"I'm Kate Bishop."

"Barbara Gordon," she takes Kate's hand firmly. "I hope you'll excuse me if I don't stand." She's not in her wheelchair, so there's not really anything to indicate that she can't stand.

"Have a seat?" Barbara suggested with a wave at a nearby chair. "Where'd you learn to shoot like that, anyway?"

Kate sat down, and set her bow down to the side.

"Practiced every summer at Interlochen National Music Camp. I also learned cello there."

"Wow, you got that good just practicing summers at a music camp?" Barbara isn't sure she believes it, but she won't press for now, "That's really impressive."

Kate then admitted, "My codename's Hawkeye. Part of the Young Avengers."

"Young Avengers, huh? No team by that name where I'm from. Willing to give me a rundown?" Barbara asks, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Relaxing some at the team mention, "Certainly, Patriot's a super soldier, which means enhanced strength and stamina, fast healing. Speed's also a mutant, with super speed, and he can blow things up. Wiccan's a mutant who can do magic. Hulkling's part Kree and part Skrull, with all their abilities to boot. Vision's is the Vision, the most advanced computer you can think of, and is sentient. Persona's like a former teammate of ours, Iron Lad, since it was his neurokinetic armor that he used to upload Vision's operating system to it."

She paused before continuing. Cassie's leaving them for Iron Man's side still hurt.

"Also Stature who just left us, she could grow or shrink her body to any height."

"And you're baseline?" Barbara asks, deciding to skirt the question of teammates leaving for now.
