...yeah, it just occurred to Stephen that he counts as a flier. You know, seeing as he owns an antigravitational device and is reaching the final leg of jet construction.

Go team him?

Anyway, he's now having a look around for Nathan Petrelli (the real one, please and thanks), for whom he also has some news on the making-holes-in-reality front. Not terribly exciting news, but a plan, at least. (He's also keeping an eye out for Thrust, for the purposes of getting blueprints. Yes, he's building a fighter jet and a kind of cross-reality teleport and a bit of alien robot tech in the same lifetime. It's possible that he's overbooked himself.) Plus: he's totally botherable by anyone with a hankering to chat.

Catch him anywhere, twirling a well-used spanner between his fingers and humming to himself as he walks.

Steve is Terribly Startled. So startled, in fact, that Gabriel gets an upside-down grin which is mere inches away from laughter. "Aaah, you got me."

Nuzzlenuzzle.

"Yes," agrees Gabriel happily. "Yes I did."

It's a wonder they ever get any work done, really.

Correction: that Steve gets any work done. Gabriel's purpose in life seems to be to provide an adorable distraction from said work.

In any case. BWAH. Upside-down smooches.

He seems to find this very funny.

"I can't help it," he mumbles, blushing furiously and snugging his arms around Steve's waist.

Said snugging does not prevent Steve from turning about and delivering right-way-around kisses to complement the first batch.

"This," kiss, "is verging," kiss, "on exhibitionism." Kiss kiss.

Pff. Well, now (with some effort) Gabe will just have to lift him up into the air so their faces are on a level.

"You," kiss, "are too cute," kiss, "for me to care."

Snuggle. Kiss.

Eeee, lifting. Best sasquatch ever.

"I concur," kiss cuddle, "and fully agree."

You know, in the vice-versa way.

"Egotist," Gabriel accuses jokingly, smiling. (Nuzzle; kiss.)

Stephen laughs into Gabriel's mouth.

It is an impressive feat.

Also, one would imagine that it tickles.

It does, a little.

Gabriel just grins.

And puts Steve down so he can ruffle his hair.

All right, all right, we all know that Steve is about eight feet shorter than Gabriel. Point made.

Grin grin grin.

And an arm around Gabriel's waist. "So where are you off to this very fine morning?"

"Well, I was after breakfast, but it looks like I've been interrupted."

Grin. Nuzzle.

"About time I started distracting you."

Steve's arm seems to have found a way to slot into Gabriel quite comfortably. ~~...Not like that.~~

"It was getting one-sided."

"You always distract me." He grins. "Sometimes when you're not even around."

"I'm just special that way."

Steve grins right back.

"Mmmm," Gabe says agreeably, kissing the corner of Steve's mouth. What? It was right there! And all... kissable!

Pause for kisses.

Then, because he does somehow remember why he's out here: "You seen Nathan Petrelli about? The guy with the suit and the chin?" Well, he's not sure whether they've met. (And he hopes that if they have, it wasn't the one with the same screenname as Sylar.) "He's looking for people who can fly."

"Can't say I have." Gabriel ducks his head apologetically. "Sorry."

His self-esteem, let him not show you it, because it has gone on vacation. To Guam.
