Scully was on the farm, having got some sleep in her room in the bunker. She had got sick again when she woke up, and has been slowly sipping on water to keep hydrated. Also eating lightly to calm her stomach. It was still the first trimester so she knew that part was pretty normal. Even if she worried about some of the circumstances of her pregnancy. She was now sitting down outside, with a cup of water in hand to sip.

Lenore is out there, somewhere off in the distance, walking in circles around an empty part of the field. She's been doing so for the past two hours.
There's a light breeze, and when it brushes past Scully and reaches Lenore, the girl freezes and looks in the agent's direction.

When she reaches the redhead, she doesn't say anything. Just stares.
At her stomach.

"What are you doing?"

"I know you," she says, barely whispering.

"I was about to ask you that. I don't know. Have you seen him?"

She points at Scully's stomach.
"Who knows?"

Lenore wants to say that she's safe here, but...

"Exactly what do you mean?"

She turns around, slowly, and moves the hair away from the back of her neck.
"I'm not dangerous."
no subject
"...Another hybrid."

She turns back around.
"One of the first."

She trails off, brings her knees up to her chest.
"-- here, at least. Things are different. There's nobody here."
And the ones who are... they didn't want to hurt her. They just finished the process.

"When I first got here, I wasn't -- they didn't finish. About a week ago, I felt... I went into the forest over there. Felt like I had to. And then I came back like this."

"But I'm... okay."
I think.
