At another time, a little later than the first time, the Cooper farm finds itself presented with yet another carload of newcomers.

At least these don't apparently plan to stay -- and certainly wouldn't seem to have close bonds, the way they're all three bitching at each other, or the way the car doors slam in order as they get out and immediately stalk in different directions.

"I was walking. And then some girl sitting in a tree started talking to me."

She's still in a tree, still talking to her. Rachel is more than a little baffled by this.

Rachel's sneer is automatic, practically instinct. She gives the woman a final glance before continuing to walk. "Hope you find something to do, then."

She laughs and flips out of the tree, landing on her feet.

"That wasn't a come-on, you know. Not in that mood."

If she's landing in front of her, Rachel stops short before they can collide, not surprised.

And half-looking forward to a fight.

"What mood are you in then?"

She tilts her head.

"What kind of mood are you in?"

Rachel arches a brow. "A fairy."

As for her mood, that gets another roll of her eyes and an attempt to pass Josh by. "The kind that doesn't include bored people asking roundabout questions. Don't you have something better to do?"

She's five foot five, curvy, pretty thing.

Doesn't mean anything.

She is not morphing on a whim. Not now.
