The bridge of the Aerie One
Sparrow doesn't like this plane. It's too big and too comfy and not at all what Heroes like Dick says Barbara is should be flying in. Also, she doesn't really like the fact that she slept here, and not on her own plane. Sure, the sofas are more comfy then in her cape on the floor, but her cape and costume are on the other plane and she feels undressed.
BUT. These computers she's found are awesome. So because no one's told her what she is and isn't allowed to touch, she's having a nosy.
And she still hasn't taken her shades off.

"That doesn't mean anything," she points out.
(Mmmmm coffee)
no subject
"It might," he mumbles. "Maybe."
Mmmmmmmmmmm. Coffee.

Oh look, Sparrow's found the live feed from the cameras pointing right at them. She disables them.
And doesn't believe for a second she's really disabled them.
"My hair doesn't look anything near that stupid."
no subject
He ruffles his hair again, contemplatively, and then leans over to mess hers up too.
"Now it does."
no subject
"Watch the shades," she warns.
no subject
"I don't think you're the same person as me. I just think the similarities are worth checking out."
no subject
"You wanna go for a walk?"
no subject
"You're not ashamed to be seen with me? Lead on, then."
no subject
She pushes back from the computer screen and leads the way out, striding full length towards her own plane.
Which given the relative leg lengths, shouldn't make it too hard for Dick to keep pace.
"So some guy slipped a roofie in my drink last night."
no subject
"... what?"
THERE IS PUNCHING TO BE DONE NOW. Who? Where? POINT HIM.
no subject
"I didn't hurt him that bad," she says. "He'll live."
no subject
Well, that's okay, then. Dick blinks, and tries to hide a smirk. (Not very hard. He's proud of her.)
"... Good. Where is he? Did he have friends?"
no subject
"Someone gave them the drugs and I'm gonna go back to find out who."
Because she has to, and he'll undertsand that.
Once inside, and with her back to him, she takes off her shades.
no subject
Huh. Shades, eh.
"Need a hand?"
no subject
"Probably the kind of thing best handled by a girl anyway."
Now her shades are finally off, Dick can see she's of Asian extraction: Chinese. Her eyes are, contrary to icons, brown not blue, and have a humour to them that makes her habitual frown a lot less like a scowl.
no subject
Dick wrinkles his nose. He's not sure he likes sending her back without backup. But she's -- well, she's a Robin, even if she thinks she's a Sparrow.

"Watch it, Sparrow, I might just not bother."
no subject
"My name's Jubilation," she says, casually.
no subject
"Cool. So ... they call you 'Ation' for short, or ...?"
no subject
"Jubes is fine," she says dryly.
no subject
Then, very solemnly "My name's Dick."
It is the Exchanging-Of-Names. Very important.
no subject
Jubes may be teasing there herself.
no subject
(tiny smirk.)
no subject
Duh!
