Toph is bored. Again

She's wandered back into the Cooper farm to check on her buildings, and see if there's anyone worth talking to,, and mostly to find food.

It probably doesn't matter where you are. Small blind girl will find you.

"So I'm supposed to be surprised you can change shape?" Toph counters. "You're not that special, Princess."

Rachel makes a face at her, an automatic sneer, and turns to finish gathering her things - jeans buttoned, shoes tied.

The gun and shoulder holster picked out of the tree and shrugged on.

"I never said I was," she replies, still glaring, tugging a jacket down from the tree branch. "Maybe I haven't been here long enough to get used to jerks showing up out of nowhere knowing secrets they shouldn't."

"If you want to keep it a secret you shouldn't go around doing it in public."

That's logic.

Also, Toph doesn't much mind being called a jerk.

"I'm in the woods, four miles from the house."



Okay, so her definition of 'public' needs to be a little re-worked here.

Toph counts herself as part of the public, definitely.

"Yeah, well, you weren't when I started."

So there.

That's sarcasm.

Rachel closes her eyes and counts to ten.

She makes it to five.

"All right, bye," she snaps, laying her jacket over her arm and walking. It doesn't matter which direction and since she's facing Toph, she walks right past her.

"Bye!" Toph says, sarcastically cheery.

When Rachel's made it five steps past Toph, Toph flicks her heel against the earth.

Tiny little localised earthquake coming right up.

Well, now, that's just not very nice, when Rachel's all tall and clumsy and human.

And tripping.

She doesn't hit the floor, at least, but there's still a red tinge to her face when she stumbles and glares back at Toph over her shoulder. Not because she suspects of her being involved somehow - she just hates that she may have seen it.

Heard it.

Toph smirks.But she's still facing in the same direction, so Rachel wouldn't really be able to see.

But she lifts a hand to wave cheerfully behind her.

"Have a good trip!" she says, and walks on.

Confused, angry Rachel is both confused and angry.
