Will and the artist formerly known as NamelessGuy Garo ('Ro? Gar? Is not easy to make nicknames of such things) have arrived in New York, having been ferried by Nathan.

'Ro, for his part, is staring with rather childlike wonder at the city. The countryside was one thing, but this 'city' is tiny to him.

"S'small." Brightly.

"Want me to read you to sleep?" She replied and kissed his cheek.

"Mm, if ye wish, though we've rare kind o'privacy 'ere too."

And then he turns and pounces her with a big kiss.

"Well you were yawning... !" She was surprised by him though and kissed him back.

He'd answer but well kissing her and that's more important.

So she just focused on kissing him for the time being, the light from the fireplace reflecting against their faces.

In time, his hand wanders around her waist to just find her back as he deepens the kiss.

Her back gently arched at the feel of his hand, as she continued to kiss him back.

So his fingers start making complicated designs as he starts kissing her neck.

A pleased sigh as her back muscles twitched and shifted under his fingers. She tilted her neck to the side.

Every so gently, he adds in a blow or nips on the skin of her neck.

That earned him a gasp, and then a moan from her.

He smiles against her skin as he keeps trying more combinations of kisses, nips and blowing.

Oooh now nips too. She liked that. A lot, especially since it made her want to move even closer to him, and bare her neck more to his experiment.

Even more skin, Will is quite happy to keep exploring.

So she shifted a little on the couch so he could do so.

"Mm, ye taste good, love."

He says as he finds the hollow of her throat.

A light laugh that turned into a "Oooh, Will, right there."

The kisses are soft and mixed with warm breath as he works his way down her chest.

Luckily, it looked like no other ghosts were going to interrupt their private moment as the two lay together on the couch. Later, the fire had cooled down to embers in the fireplace as they snuggled together.

"Should probably check around some more," Kate quietly murmured.

"Sleep first, see if there are beds 'bout."

He strokes her hair and face, he still can't quite believe this is real.

She thought about it, and then yawned, "Eh, probably right. Saw a couple set of stairs, maybe there's beds there."

She started up the one side, which happened to be the girls dormitory. Which meant a little surprise if Will follows her.

He's got a hold of her hand so he does follow her up,

"Oh aye, that'd be nice."

In that case as soon as he goes to step on the stairs, there was a loud alarm, and the stairs abruptly turned into a stone slide to send them tumbling back down onto the floor, and tangled together.

"...Ow, you ok?" Kate asked, as she flipped through the book, trying to figure out what the hell they just triggered.

"Bloody 'ell, what's that?"

He's a little sore and hugs her as he checks her over for bruises.

There were a few, but not too bad. Luckily they hadn't gotten very far up yet.

"Dunno, hopefully there's something about it in here." She skimmed through the contents, and then found a passage.

"............How backward can you get? Like anybody's going to try anything?"

She sighed and facepalmed, "Uh, Will? You can't go up those stairs it looks like. You're a guy, and it looks like it leads to the girls dormitory. Says it's enchanted to do that anytime a boy tried to go up as a protective measure. I don't see anything about the boys dormitory stairs being like that though. Apparently girls could be trusted more than guys."
