Garo returns about ten minutes later, setting about six potions on one of the side table, shucking off his coat, scarf, weapon belt, boots and shirt and setting them down too.

"If this is going to work, you're going t'have t'really push me, y'know. As in, go against your nature, start being a real kriffer and not give me any time t'catch my breath push me. Not sure y'can do that - Reckon you're too nice."

Will does the same until he's just in boots and pants,

"Think I can do that."

"I don't think you can," Garo grins. "I think you'll back down at the first sign of hurting me."

He may be deliberately goading Will, a little. Probably as buildup to the bit where he intends to goad Will a lot.

Will shrugs and approaches, starting with a number of fast punches.

Garo ducks and weaves, moving backwards and away from them. A moment later, he jumps upwards, twisting around in the air to land behind Will and kick around at the back of his knees, throwing an elbow at his shoulder.

Will goes down but turns to grab Garo's elbow and wrench it as he stands up and works to throw him off.

Garo laughs, stumbling forward at the wrench.

So Will follows up with a kick at Garo's leg and pushing his elbow back.

Thanks to the wonders of potions, Garo can walk fine, but that leg was still shot less than a week ago, and he gives a hiss of pain when it's kicked, stumbling backwards.

"Fast guy. I feel sorry for Kate." Grin.

Will doesn't respond just follows up with more punches.

He's still stumbling, so a fair few of them hit, making his face swing from side to side as he takes several steps back, before ducking and throwing several punches at his stomach.

"What, y'can't even talk now?" The name he calls Will a moment later can't really be written down. It's probably many centuries after Will's time, but the basic, very insulting principle remains pretty much the same. "Y'can't talk and you can barely fight. What the kriff did your friends in the forest keep you around for?"

Will, Garo is finding, is difficult to goad. Not that he's not trying his best.

There's fighting to be done, talking gets in the way in Will's mind and a few of the punches hit so Will just comes back even quicker.

Garo decides to drop the goading for the moment. He can always pick it up again later if Will gets hesitant.

Garo blocks the punches, throwing one knee up between Will's legs.

The knee is hard to dodge but Will tackles Garo at that moment which works just as well.

Garo takes a few rapid steps back, but doesn't fall, instead just shoving Will away and hopping up onto one of the tables, swinging one foot around to kick at his face.

Will grabs Garo's foot once he gets his balance and pulls.

Garo goes flying off the table, hitting the ground hard.

Which is really rather painful.

Which makes Will pause since that didn't sound good.

"See," as Garo clambers to his feet. "Told you you were too much of a coward for this."

He makes a mental note to apologise profusely to Will about this afterwards.

Well since Garo's standing that means he's alright and Will grumbles something inaudible as he comes back with more punches and a some kicks too.

Garo grins at him, blocking and dodging the blows, taking steady steps backwards until eventually grabbing Will's leg as it comes up for a kick, pushing it backwards.

Will starts to fall and grabs onto Garo's arm so he at least falls too.

Garo lands on top of Will, but quickly hops to his feet, jumping back onto one of the tables (higher elevation - good even if you've been thrown off it once) and pacing.

So Will jumps to follow him onto the table and approaches with lots of punches.

Garo blocks and dodges some, but others hit, knocking him back a little.
