Oh boy, another new person at the farm!
A very large, orange, furry new person.

The bat tries very hard to look as harmless as possible.

"I'm sorry," she says a little weakly to Crobat, not even positively sure that it can understand her. "I guess I just wasn't quite prepared for the full reality of it."

It ventures a little closer, since she seems more confused and surprised, rather than "OUT OF MY HOME YOU VILE BEAST!"

Lots of things at the farm have looked dangerous without actually making any attempt to harm her; she still has an automatic 'back away' reaction, but she resists it.

Well, she gets the tone, anyway.
And she's still staring, for the record. That's a habit she should probably wean herself off at some point, if she's not to inadvertantly offend someone.
