(no subject)

Steph is in the sunny loungeroom of the Cooper farmhouse, bent over a notebook. The sewing machine is set up beside her and there's a bag of rather eggplant-coloured cloth at her feet, but she's still in the planning stage, lost in her scribbles.

It's a good thing she's working on the notebook rather than the sewing machine. Otherwise, Sokka's cuddle attack could be considered somewhat dangerous.

AFFECTION FROM ABOVE.

Costume designs are interesting but Steph's to be cuddled are even better. Especially when they're all grinny and happy and have soft warm skin on their necks for biting.

"Hi. Whatcha doin'?"

[identity profile] notanoptimist.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 07:05 am (UTC)(link)
"Wondering what you're trying to hide from me," Sokka replies, grinning and trying to reach for the notebook. Attempted nose-kissing means he can steal a real kiss. "Is it cool or dangerous?"

[identity profile] notanoptimist.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
"I only like the cool part," Sokka informs her, slinging an arm around her shoulders and tilting his head to look at the notebook. He frowns a little, trying to figure it out.

And frowns a lot.

"...you wanna go out being a crazy crimefighter again?"

[identity profile] notanoptimist.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Lots of dangerous crime, Sokka wants to point out.

He kisses her instead because that's much safer.

"I don't think these outfits are tight enough. I think you should take some lessons from Dinah, personally. Specifically, leg-covering lessons."

[identity profile] notanoptimist.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 07:33 am (UTC)(link)
Sokka grins and squirms into the lap for proper cuddling and kissing. "m'sure Dinah's thought of that. You can get bulletproof stockings, yeah? And I think it should be more open here," he points at the chest of her little drawings, "and higher here," pointing at the tops of her thighs.

And pausing.

"...actually, maybe the outfit you go out in should look just like your Spoiler suit. But design another one that's just for us, okay?"

Sokka has to hesitate. Partly because Steph-cuddles make thinking hard, partly because his family is here. "...how long will you be gone?" he asks, worried. "It's not that I don't want to go with you, just-- Mel and the girls are here, and Katara, too."

Angie is trying to find Steph, so it happens. It's occurred to her that she hasn't seen her in quite some time.

It is a nice loungeroom. "Hey Steph! I didn't know you sewed."

[identity profile] angela-edmunds.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
She grins. "Doing good. We've got a boatload of grapes at our place so now we're starting to make wine. This place is really trippy sometimes."

She comes over to hug her friend around the shoulders. "Superhero costumes, eh?"

[identity profile] angela-edmunds.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:39 pm (UTC)(link)
"Cool. I'm assuming it's for real and not just for Halloween."

Because Steph just doesn't do that stuff for pretend.

[identity profile] angela-edmunds.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's a strange sort of normal, but I see what you mean."

She grins. Life isn't ever going to be any semblance of what it was before for her. But it's not bad at all.

"I can totally understand wanting to be back to normal. Sort of why I write all those how-to thingies. At least it's some sort of writing and it'll help people out."

Someday, anyway.

"I certainly hope so. The only disadvantage to living off the Farm is that it's harder to know what people here need."

[identity profile] angela-edmunds.livejournal.com 2008-10-26 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Angela pretends to think about it. "Deeefinitely not," she says, laughing. "It's just so peaceful. And private. And you should come over. I'd like to have friends visit."
