Cooper Farm

Jean went 'walking' this world, for very little definition of that word.

Today she's sitting in a field of late autumn not too far off from the farmhouse and it's general surroundings.


She's presently plaiting a long thin chain of flowers.

"From what I've seen outside of Kansas, I can imagine it wasn't all that great," Sokka replies, nose wrinkled.

"I was lucky," Jean said it with a smile. "There was only an endless forest of green lush trees where I appeared."

"The trees didn't attack you or anything? My nieces were almost eaten by carnivorous plants, that sucked."

Jean shook her head.

"No. They are fine now?"

Give him a minute - Katara is asking worriedly about the wellfare of the babies, making him grin and lift a hand to stave off questions from both sides. "Yeah, they're fine. They had three of us protecting them. That was... wow, almost a year ago."

He loves his family. It's written all over his face and thoughts and emotions. In each of the words he says and how he smiles when they both ask.

Sokka is his family. Without them, he's utterly lost.

He grins, sheepish and dodges Katara's elbow when she tease him with an "Awwwww."

Jean smiled and plucked a few more flowers from the ground.
