Neil is sitting on the roof of the bunker, wearing a brown sweater with white stripes, eating a pear.

It's a nice day out: clear skies, no snow, chill but not too cold. That explains why he's not in the warm cosy kitchen.

"Go on," he prompts, gently.

"It probably wouldn't make much sense if I told you," she glances back over to the Gundam, "There is something very familiar about this mobile suit. And you and that Haro..."

"There aren't many people who'd recognize Haro," he says.

"I suppose not," she picks her words carefully, trying to sound as sure as she can, "I just got here the other day and I'm already more confused over familiar things than anything else."

Neil gives her an odd look, but lets it pass.

"Welcome to the farm," he says instead. "Are you settling in all right?"

"Slowly but surely. I was given a rather... interesting description of this place by the woman who brought me here yesterday. It's almost cozy if you look at it from the right angle."

"The woman who brought you here?"

Women he knows around the farm: Lucy, 95, Val... all of whom could probably describe the place in a way that can be called 'interesting' in that tone of voice.

"Miss Val was her name, if that helps any."

He chuckles. "I can imagine, then."

Although in his imagination, Val's description has more profanity and less omission of important details than it actually did.

"But she pointed this mobile suit out to me on our way in. She gave me your name and I was a little intrigued by it."

"A little intrigued by my MS, or my name?"

"Oh, no, this!" Surprised, she makes motions with both of her hands over to the Gundam.

He laughs a little, good-naturedly.

"Why?"

"As I said. It looks very similar to one of the many mobile suits there are back where I am from," she says, her hands moving less and merely pausing to point at it.

"Does it?"

Yes, he's fishing for information.

She's not stupid enough to say too much quite yet. She doesn't care how much he looks like Lyle.

"Yes," Anew raises her eyebrows and looks to him, "It's in rather bad repair... That's a little unfortunate. The snow can't be good for it."

"Well, without a miracle-working mechanic, the snow won't make much difference either way."

"I... had found one," he says, dodging the question of how much Steve actually knew about mobile suits before Dynames came to the farm. "But I haven't seen him in a while."
