Kate slept in, the few dreams she had were nightmares of war, and of blinding cold imprisonment. She was outside in the field near the Cooper farm, going through katas as a warmup, despite the still bandaged leg. And then taking her bow, and firing some arrows into a makeshift target (bales of hay). If she seems especially focused on the targets as she fired, a distraction would still be appreciated.

Now she's blushing too.

"It's more ordinary than yours. A lot of people have hair like mine."

His hand has been moving up her back and now finds her hair that his hand gently moves through,

"Makes it na less beautiful."

And then she gets kissed again.

Kate's eyes closed again, her fingers running through his hair, and lightly scratching the scalp with her fingernails. Though some were shorter than others from recent battles.
