Look, up on the roof!

It's black and white!

It's drooling!

It's Venom! A rather bored-looking Venom, judging from his posture. He's perched atop one of the roof's corners and peering around, attempting to spot anything particularly interesting and failing thus far.

"We'll find something to amuse ourselves with eventually," he says, seeming to be talking to no one at all. "Even if there aren't any fairies around here, we should be able to find something else richly deserving a lesson in letting the innocent be. All we must do is wait."

He returns to peering around the Cooper farm, still looking for something that's more interesting than monologuing.

"They call me Oroborous. Or sometimes Thomas." He shrugs. "Doesn't matter here, I guess."

Venom shrugs. "We've heard-and probably will hear-stranger."

"Are you normal where you come from?" The royal we is a little odd, but maybe he's english.

There's a slight narrowing of the eyepatches at the question. "We consider ourselves to be normal enough. We might not be by most standards, but..."

But he doesn't really care. Venom is quite happy being a 'we'.

Thomas heaves a sigh, turning to gaze into the distance. But he keeps one eye turned to watch Venom. "Must be nice. So, what do you do?"

"We protect the innocent, and deal with those who aren't nearly so kind." He pauses. "There seems to be a lack of anything to protect against here, but outside Kansas, thing are different."

"Really?" He perks up. No one has said anything about outside Kansas. "What's happening out there?"

"San Francisco has a fairy problem, to start with. We came back with Kate, Will, and Sam to find back up so we could handle the problem more...effectively." Venom grins at that, in his unnerving way.

"Well, San Fran has always been a gay..." He stops, hsi words trailing off. "You don't mean homosexuals, do you?"

"We mean actual fairies. Their queen has decided to take over the city and keep the population hostage. We plan to remedy this."

"So, how do you kill a fairy?" It's the easiest way to get rid of them.

"Our idea to eat the queen's head was met with approval, but hitting them with anything sharp seems to work nicely. We met opposition when we attempted to leave."

Thomas brings his arms down in front of him, crossing each other. He concentrates, throwing knives sliding up through his skin to stand upright all along his arms. "Sounds like fun."

"Interested in coming along?" Venom actually sounds pleased at the idea-when it comes to brawling, you need a good number of people, after all.

He lets the blades slide back into his skin, nodding his head. "Sounds like something that'll get the ole blood pumping. Better then hanging out round here."

"This place is calm...but dull," Venom agrees, frowning. "We need to see if there's anything interesting nearby we've missed. It may help pass the time."

For a minute, Thomas things the thing is inviting him along on some kind of patrol. Then he remembers the whole royal we thing. "Not so much."

"There's nothing of interest around here?" Venom sounds disgusted at that. "Perhaps we will have to go farther to find anything."

"There's the farm, right.And the weird nest of stuff out back. And the city nearby. But it's all, like quiet, right?" And sucky.

"Too quiet. We prefer the city. At least things happen there."

"Bit of a challenge." Stealing from unguarded stores just isn't the same.

"To get to the city, you mean?"

"Just in general, I mean. It would be, well, kinda nice." Okay, might as well ask. "Why do you talk about yourself as we?"

"Because we are a we."

Well, it makes sense to him.

"Multiple personalities?" Not so weird.
