Steph is helping Hana walk!

There are big grins on both faces. Hana because LOOK LOOK SHE'S A BIG GIRL LOOK EEEE FOOTS ON GROUND! - and Steph because eeeeeee babies, she's missed them.

Up and down the corridor, up and down. Probably in everyone's way, but look at how cute the little Fire baby is! How could you mind?

"See?" Mournfully. "Already she tries to attack me."

Steph grins, hoisting Hana in the air until she wriggles and squeals.

"You're just lucky she hasn't set fire to your hair yet."

Sam raises a hand to his hair protectively.
"That'd be nasty, though."

"Oh, she doesn't do it on purpose. It just sort of happens. Poor Will."

"She burnt off Will's hair? What the kriff?"

"She didn't mean to," Steph says defensively, holding Hana a little bit tighter. Hana thinks this is hilarious and tries to wallop Sam's nose.

Sam leans away from her.

"Yeah. Sure she didn't." He narrows his eyes a little.

Steph leans away in return, ignoring Hana's whine of protest at this and shifting the baby to her other hip -- the one further from Sam.

"Honestly, she didn't," she promises. "She's a Firebender, and she sneezed while she was playing with his hair. It makes her spark."

As if to oblige, Hana giggles and sneezes, failing utterly to produce either smoke or flame.

"Ya-huh. Did y'know there are fairies in San Francisco?"

Steph slides a glance at him.

"Isn't it kind of un-PC to say that?"

"... No, no, literal fairies. With wings, sometimes. Led by a Snow Queen."

Steph blinks.

"Uh-huh."

Hana giggles and smacks Steph in the nose with Dino.

"What? No, seriously! Ask Will or Kate or Venom."

"Actually, weird as it is, I believe you," Steph says, with a grin. "I mean, Gotham was possessed by purple slime and invisible eaty things. Fairies is practically normal."

"They weren't very nice. They took Kate prisoner and tried to drown Will."

"I thought fairies were ... like ... little happy bouncy things." Steph bounces Hana, who's whinging about the lack of attention.

"The ones in San Francisco apparently aren't."

"Huh." Steph shakes her head. "I dunno, I'd say this world sucks but I don't want to be too negative around the babies."

"It's not like they understand you. And yeah, it does suck." Grumpily.

"Not that much." Steph grins. "I found my friends here."

"Good for you."

Steph eyes him, and then surreptitiously switches Hana back towards him. Hana beams and grabs for his hair, delighted. "AAABAAA do doo BEEE!"

That will totally cheer him up, right?

GAH. CURSE YOU LONG HAIR.

"Make her let gooo."

Steph is eyeing Hana's chest worriedly, just in case there are sneezes, but Hana's giggling.

"EEEE 'ISS!" she shouts, and smacks a wet baby-kiss on Sam's cheek. Which isn't actually a kiss, because she's a baby, it's just a headbutt. A wet one.

Steph pulls her away, trying not to laugh.

"She's mean." Sam protests, woefully.
