Steph is helping Hana walk!

There are big grins on both faces. Hana because LOOK LOOK SHE'S A BIG GIRL LOOK EEEE FOOTS ON GROUND! - and Steph because eeeeeee babies, she's missed them.

Up and down the corridor, up and down. Probably in everyone's way, but look at how cute the little Fire baby is! How could you mind?

The baby is really cute and makes Will smile when he stands after being good and resting,

"She's lovely, milady, is she yers?"

He'd bend down but his back is still acting up after the fight in San Francisco.

Steph beams at him. "I wish! Nope, she's Mel's. Her name's Hana, and mine's Steph. How're you?"

"I'm Will, dinna think I know a Mel. Know a Marley an a Val though."

Steph grins at him and makes Hana wave with one little hand. Hana babbles up at them happily, and then performs a tiny little baby-sneeze.

A spark and a wisp of smoke emerge from her nose.

"I've met Val, I ... think," Steph says doubtfully. "Maybe. Mel and the girls just got here last night, though."

"Oh aye, Kate, Sam, Venom an I were off in San Francisco for 'bout a week so probably just missed 'er."

Kneeling down 'urts a lot but Will still does to wave a hand at Hana and laugh at the sneeze,

"Lass 'as an 'mpressive sneeze."

"Cool." Steph grins, at his praise for Hana. Best baby ever.

Hana stares at Will, and then promptly grabs for his nose with surprisingly strong little hands. "BAAAAA!"

"What was San Francisco like? I mean, New York's pretty wrecked."

That gets another laugh from Will though he looks more at Hana than Steph when he answers,

"Trapped in Winter, a Fae Queen 'as claimed it, was damn 'ard fight gettin' out an they took Kate for a time, got 'er back safe though."

"Oooh, ouch." Steph sounds sympathetic.

Hana tugs Will's nose, delightedly, and then flings her other arm around to bash his shoulder. "DEE DEE BOO!"

The bashing on his shoulder makes Will visibly wince and reopens a scab but he just does his best to smile,

"Aye, wasna good, but we're safe an made Kate smile."

After wincing, he turns a little pale and then blushes thinking about kissing Kate on the couch, its a rather odd color combination.

"C'mere, baby, don't do that," Steph suggests, eyeing the hint of fresh blood on Will's shoulder. Hana giggles and thumps for his chest, squealing with delight.

"...sorry," Steph says, once she's restrained the squirmy wiggly toddler -- who promptly tries to climb up Steph's back by pulling her hair. "Are you okay? You're going funny colours."

"Tis fine, just some injuries from 'ome that the fight opened up. Lass surprised me was all."

He grins at the thump on his chest which doesn't hurt and shakes his red hair for her,

"Just things are still new with Kate is all, makes me all nervous."

Hana squeals again gleefully, lunging free of Steph's arms to grab at the red hair with both hands. It's pretty!

Steph laughs. "Yeah? Cool. Tell me about her, go on." He obviously seems to want to.

Another laugh from Will,

"Glad ye like my 'air, lass, gotten me in 'nough trouble in Nottingham. She's lovely, dark 'air, eyes that seem to 'old truth an she just 'as the bravest, kindest 'eart o'any woman I know other than Marian o'course."

"We have babies here now?" Sam's voice apparently doesn't have a body to go with it, or be coming from any direction, instead echoing from every wall. "Kriff. Is she going to keep the rest of us awake?"

"Nope, only you," Steph informs the disembodied voice, scooping Hana up and wrapping protective arms around the baby. "She's going to sit right next to you all night and yell."

"... But that'd be mean." Sam protests, as a plume of gold light comes down the corridor. He materialises from it, standing next to Steph and pouting as he pulls his hood down. "You'd stop her, right? You don't want her growing up to be pure evil do you?"

"I don't know. I might." Steph looks thoughtful.

Hana, meanwhile, thinks Sam is the Best Thing Ever! and shows this by lunging for him in delight, squealing. Steph only just saves her from a plunge to the floor.

"See?" Mournfully. "Already she tries to attack me."

Steph grins, hoisting Hana in the air until she wriggles and squeals.

"You're just lucky she hasn't set fire to your hair yet."

Sam raises a hand to his hair protectively.
"That'd be nasty, though."

"Oh, she doesn't do it on purpose. It just sort of happens. Poor Will."

"She burnt off Will's hair? What the kriff?"

"She didn't mean to," Steph says defensively, holding Hana a little bit tighter. Hana thinks this is hilarious and tries to wallop Sam's nose.

Sam leans away from her.

"Yeah. Sure she didn't." He narrows his eyes a little.

Steph leans away in return, ignoring Hana's whine of protest at this and shifting the baby to her other hip -- the one further from Sam.

"Honestly, she didn't," she promises. "She's a Firebender, and she sneezed while she was playing with his hair. It makes her spark."

As if to oblige, Hana giggles and sneezes, failing utterly to produce either smoke or flame.
