Flash bang flash

Flash.

The second flash there had meant to hit Bi-Face, except apparently the universe had different ideas. The third flash was an automatic reaction to suddenly being jerked out of Gotham and into some strange place that's other, and Sparrow doesn't really appreciate that.

"What the heck?"

"Claw network? Is that anything like the Wire?"

"And is Gotham where the Monzaemon live and make their delightful toys and candy all day long?!"

Sarcasm and attempts-at-sounding-delighted and giggles: Three great tastes that taste great together.

"Or," Sparrow suggests, irritable now, "You guys could stay here and play with your pets, while I try things that might actually get us home."

Pakamon stands on the bike's handlebars and hisses.

"I am not a pet," she proclaims dangerously, tail lashing.

"Hey, hey," Jo soothes, moving to rest a hand on her friend's back. "Cool it, Pakamon, it's just a figure of speech."

And a glance at Sparrow to be sure she has that right.

Kvikkumon's reaction is a little bit more volatile, especially when you consider how he almost never speaks.
"We are not pets." It's a snarl, with teeth-bared and everything. "Know your place, human."

Griffin doesn't seem too bothered by the outburst.

Yeah, Jo had it right. Sparrow shrugs in her direction, now pretty much ignoring Griffen.

"So I'm going see if I can't find a plane. You guys gonna be OK, here?"

Jo sighs. "We'll manage. We always do."

"Bring us back some stuffed toys."

Should she feel guilty about leaving them?

Nah, the apparent dangers might only be something the crazy girl cooked up. And besides - getting back to 'Claw should be priority one.

Sparrow shrugs, digs out the GPS again and starts in a more North-West direction.

First decent fast car or bik she passes, and she's 'wiring it.
