Will has been exploring the castle and hasn't found a courtyard so he's in the Great Hall going through sword forms.

Tiwa doesn't like all the fighters around New York, she knows they're good at defending but not a lot of them seem very fun. At the moment, she's sitting on a fire escape somewhere in New York and eating an ice cream, she's really good at finding food.

Tumnus is around the farm, quietly watching people and sometimes playing his pipes.

Garo has been dreaming, for a given value of 'dreaming.'

They're a little too real to be dreams, but a little too distorted to be memories.

"S'a nice hall." He's keeping his distance from Will, at the moment, wandering about the edge of the hall and taking it all in.

"Aye, ceilin' keeps changin'."

Will finishes one of his forms and sheathes his sword.

"Interesting." Each syllable is drawn out, as Garo sets his sword up against one of the tables, reluctantly, peering up. "You'll warn me if anybody comes in?" He still has his gun, but leaving his sword somewhere, even if he can keep an eye on it, is a mite unnerving.

"Oh aye, we'll watch out for each other."

Garo nods, briefly, without looking away from the ceiling.
"I wonder how it changes."

"Probably some sort o'magic."

"Not really an explanation." He doesn't sound too bothered, though.

"Ne'er really known that much 'bout magic 'xcept what's in tales."

"I've seen one ... magician. Force Adept." Shrug. "All mysterious-like."

"Ne'er seen one in Sherwood, though tis an old magic there."

And something older and Green flashes in Will's eyes.

"It'd be interesting to see it someday." Mildly.

"If its still there."

"It's possible it may not be." Agreeably.

"Aye, so think there's 'nough space 'ere?"

"Oh, easily." Sliding his coat off. "Fair warning, I may ... er. Freeze up?" Sheepishly. "Might bring up some bad memories, y'know? Or might not. Hard t'say. Y'needn't bother stopping if it's just momentary hesitations or something, but obviously if I'm actually unable t'move for an extended period of time ... Well, y'don't need t'be told."

Beat. Quietly: "M'sorry."

"Tis fine, we'll just see 'ow we go. So 'and to 'and or with a sword?"

"Hands. Don't trust that we wouldn't cut each other badly with swords." By 'cut each other' he means that he's worried he'll cut Will - He trusts that Will has enough control to keep from making very deep cuts, he's not so sure he could.

"Oh aye, sounds a fair idea."

Will finds a good clear space and faces Garo and gets into a fighting stance.

Garo is a little apprehensive, and he looks it. He hasn't sparred at all since before his capture, he doesn't know how his various psychological shenanigans will get in the way and he doesn't want to let Will down.

So there's some momentary hesitation, but he quickly gets into a fighting stance, waiting for Will to make the first move.

Will keeps it simple and approaches to hit Garo with two quick punches in his torso.

Garo blocks, without any apparent difficulty (he looks rather pleased about that), before throwing several fast punches at Will's face.

His punches are rather faster than Will expected so one hits him on the chin before he can block the others.

He then ducks his head and kicks Garo's legs before sending his own fluffy of punches to Garo's side.

Garo spins out of the way, kicking around at Will's side.

Will just gets out of the way of the way and tries to be as fast as he can when he grabs Garo's leg and pushes.

Garo stumbles, teetering but finding his footing before he actually falls.
