It's disorienting, to go from one's comfortable home in the forest of the Grotto with it's thick, tall trees and unending number of hiding spaces, and then suddenly be somewhere else.
Especially when somewhere else looks like this... once you replace all the buildings aside from the arch with rubble.
Despite the silence that she moves with and that her new place is completely effective in hiding every inch of her, it really won't be hard to find out where she's gone: follow the claw marks, in the ground and in the rubble.
She'll be watching.

Lucy, unfortunately, doesn't have quite the right oral equipment to enjoy one at the moment, but watching Penance eat is almost as fun! B=8D!

But eventually the pear is gone and her hands are sticky. And while the red girl doesn't seem particularly put out by this, she is looking up at Lucy from her crouch with a shy smile.
Shy as much as it's lost, anyway. Delicious fruits aside, she still has no idea where she is.

She steps back a few feet to downshift and speak.
"Want to come home with me?"
And back up to the other self, to wait for an answer.

Other than blinking and a smile, anyway.

Still holding the lone pineapple in one
handclaw, Lucy-dragon shrugs a glossy black shoulder and starts walking Kansaswards, in a very come-follow-me way.It can't be that far, right? She can fly it in no time!

Plus, Lucy is nice.
Very slowly, and some distance away at first, Penance begins to follow, preferring to crawl over and under the rubble than stick to clear streets.

Eventually, she gets more careful of that, too, because the falling concrete is kind of a slipping hazard when it comes out of nowhere.
But she's certainly following.

Also, eventually, there is stopping and holding-out of pineapple.
It is delicious! Penance should have some!
