In time Will ends up sleeping in a bed and plunges into the dark.

The world is cold and pain meets him at every turn, he can't move for the iron and the blood.

Can't allow himself to scream, won't so bites his lip and tastes blood while voices in the darkness laugh and Sherwood seems only a dream.

The whip cracks again and again bringing new pain while the Green of Sherwood is lost in blood and Robin is captured and its his fault.

Sherwood may be only a dream, but this is a dream, so the green of leaves and the song of birds should not be entirely unprecedented. Everywhere he's not looking, cold and dark turns to warm and sunlit.

At last, thinks the landscape - glinting softly with rainbows. A dream of pain malleable enough for her to influence it for the better.

His breathing changes and Will smiles, Green deep in his eyes as he sees home/Sherwood and the iron falls away.

He looks up and around and whispers, "Forgive me, ne'er meant to bring such pain to ye."

The forest, which for the moment is Intuition, manages to silently convey a sense of peaceful forgiveness.

Will's back still bleeds as he sits in the Green, thankful and tired, the guilt is still there and hurting, but its less now,

"I ne'er broke, must tell Robin that, didna betray 'im."

Robin, indicates the rustling of branches in the breeze, would know that already.

"Ne'er meant to cause such trouble or be a burden, just wanted to protect my 'ome."

He looks younger now, tired and worn but the young boy who used to hide in Sherwood is clearer instead of the tired warrior constantly fighting.

Sherwood (Intuition) knows.

And doesn't think of Will as a burden in the least.

The trees are quiet, and insofar as trees can be happy, they are happy to see him home.

He starts walking the dream Sherwood, searching for the clearings he knows and just knowing home again.
