Inty is in her and Gabriel's bedroom, brushing her hair (it's a novelty! It used to brush itself!). If you're doing something interesting somewhere in the rest of the Cooper house, she might just swing by and poke her nose in. She does that.

"Not really." Steph sighs, kicking her feet; the chair is far too big for her, for both of them, Steph's just a little kid.

"...I just hafta know. I hope she's not here. I hope 's not my world. It's horrible."

Inty hugs her, and--

--lets herself become aware of the answer to that question, if it is available. She wants to be able to reassure Steph, if she can.

Let us say the answer is not available -- perhaps it is that this world and Steph's are so very alike that it's hard to tell? -- but either way, Steph is comforted and reassured by the hug, by physical contact.

"Yeah. I'll come back to Kansas to see you, anyway. I'd miss you otherwise."
