Sokka is Fixing The Kitchen Tap.

(It wasn't broken.)

This means that right now, there's a slowly-flowing stream of water out the kitchen door, but he's managed to actually seal the pipe. And in another half hour or so, the tap will be flowing better than before, heat up faster, and turn off easier.

It's just that right now it looks like chaos.

He may or may not be distracting himself from Other Things by lying on his stomach in an impromptu creek on the linoleum, but you'd never guess.

"I could take it off," Sokka suggests. "Then it wouldn't be wet."

"Or it would be wet," (Claire's hands are already working their way under his shirt) "but you wouldn't be wearing it."

Sokka can't stop grinning at her. "Exactly. And then it could stay here being wet, on the wet floor, and we could go somewhere else and not be wet."

He is Very Subtle And Not At All Blushing Either when he adds, thoughtfully, "Your shirt's getting wet too."

"I'm not taking my shirt off while I'm here," Claire decides.

"Turn the water off."

"Yes, ma'am." Sokka sits up to kiss her, grinning, and wriggles free of her to crawl for the pipes.

"...wait, you can turn it off?"

HE WOULD HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE MESSING WITH THE PLUMBING IF HE KNEW!

Sokka's so pretty when he's invoking Claire to roll her eyes at him.

Splashing in the water, she rolls over to the sink and opens the cupboard under it.

"There," she says, pointing at the mains tap.

Sokka blinks at it.

"...oooh."

He turns it.

The water stops flowing.

"oooooh. I should have tried that first!"

CLAIRE, YOU ARE A GENIUS. ♥_♥

"Yeah," Claire confirms. "You're a moron. It's OK, it's cute."

"No I'm nooooot."

Sokka is totally not whining. He's too Manly for that. ... mostly.

"Just for that --"

The water is turned off quickly.

"I'm going to give you a big wet hug. HUG MONSTER MAN! ON MY WAY!"

This would be more threatening if he hadn't already got her all wet, probably.

Still, Claire gives good threatened. She squeals and falls over from her crouch into the water, flailing against his hug with just enough strength not to dissuade him from the hug.

And fights back by de-shirting him.

Sokka ~~giggles~~ chuckles and holds more tightly, hugging her tight. And then kissing, too, because she's just there to be kissed.

His bad mood is GONED. Claire got rid of it. He loves her so big.

Mmmm kissing. And shirtless Sokka. Shirtless Sokka is AMAZING.

Kissing.

Where they don't something else? Claire doesn't remember. Kissing. And grasping his strong sides under her hands.

Kissing.

Sokka likes kissing too. Claire tastes really good and she's all warm and soft and snuggly and fits against him just right. And she likes him which makes her a bit crazy really, Sokka thinks, but it's definitely the kind of crazy he wants to keep for ever and ever and ever.

He sneaks one hand under her shirt to smooth over her back, grinning into her kisses. "'s for the record," he informs her quietly, "you're the Claire I know and love too."

Has he been thinking about that all this time?

Claire grins, and kisses his mouth again, acutely aware of his hand under her shirt, but really really glad its there.

Why?

...Oh.

She stops kissing, looks him in the eyes for a second and smiles warmly, before grabbing his wrists to stop him going any further.

"You wanna go somewhere else?"

"I should really put the tap back together first," Sokka says, sadly. "...but YES."

Sadface.

"Oh," says Claire. "Will you be long?"

"With you waiting for me?"

Sokka who? Claire's boyfriend is actually THE AMAZING HUMAN WHIRLWIND!

WHIZZWHIZZWHIZZ "Done!"

How did he do that with Claire keeping her hands on his bare skin all the time? The world will never know!

She nibbles his ear playfully.

"It's cold outside."

"Not very." Sokka grins, and dips slightly to pick her up. "THE HEAT OF MY LOVE WILL WARM YOU!"

See, he's so noble.

The heat of his love?

Claire giggles.

Sokka beams. He loves when Claire laughs at his ridiculousness.

In fact, she gets another kiss, just for being so Clairetastic.
