Last night was...

...last night was just what Mel needed to work out some of her issues right now :-D?

Since coming back, she's been doing rounds of the farm with a determined eye, making lists of things that need doing, doing some of the more urgent things; maybe she's spoken to you about what you need to do, but it's possible she hasn't yet caught upon all the gossip.

Now, as Hana and Loo play together in the grass, she's sitting and staring comtemplatively at a car that once flew. Funny how, even though one may have a genius mechanic for a brother and live with still more, there are some things for which help still cannot be asked for.

Mel wants to make it work again, and she's not sure where to start.

Except: "Oh god, Dean's mouth."

"Not as good as Sokka's," Steph says firmly, grinning blissfully. "You cannot possibly change my mind on that."

Mel shakes her head.

"Anything's better than sex that involves my brother."

Steph's laughter turns slightly wicked.

"Oh yeah? You look kind of horrified, Mel. Do you need some details?"

SHE HAS LOTS OF DETAILS.

Hey, Mel can play this game.

"Try and find something I didn't do on the couch or in the public shower this morning."

"The public shower? I hope you rinsed it down after," Steph says sternly.

"...we always do."

"Course we did," Mel says.

"...hey, who's is that big blue towel?"

Steph siiiiiighs. "That'll teach me to leave anything in the bathroom," she laments. "Ah, it needed a wash anyway."

"Yeah it did,"Mel confirms

Oh wait...

"...Sokka ahsn't used it, has he?"

"Yeah, we share." Steph smirks at her. "I won't tell him. ... probably."

There's something extra icky about Dean and Sokka sharing a towel. Especially after - and with Sokka after -
Ew.

"Just don't tell him where I can't see his face."

Steph's going to wash it. Twice. 'Cos yeah.

"Deal," she promises, giggling. "He'll spaz out and do that waving-his-arms thing, it'll be awesome."

SHE LOVES HIM REALLY.

"Oh!" Mel adds, "can you see if Babs can film the moment when he gives the Brother Talk to Dean?"

"He's giving the Brother Talk to Dean? Oh, I am so going to be there. With a camera. Or three. I'll be really sneaky!"

"Please," Mel says. "He'll never do it whileI'm watching."

"Or me, probably," Steph realises, pouting. Then she brightens again. "Bet Babs has got tiny video cameras! I'll stash one in his hat.

"And make him wear a hat."

"Then we can't see his face," Mel points out.

THIS IS THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THIS PLAN.

"Oh, yeah."

... :D "I bet I could plant one on Dean. Actually, you know, I bet you could." Eyebrow wiggle!

Smirk.

"Then we'd miss his face. One each?"

"You got a deal." Steph grins, wriggling her toes. "That means I get to go plant one really soon."

YAY!

"I'm still thinking hats is the way to go," Mel decides. "They'd notice a cam in their hair."

"Yeah." Steph looks thoughtful. "Do you think a pink cowgirl hat? For Socks?"

Mel looks doubtful.

"Com'on. You want Dean to take the talk seriously, right?"

Steph considers this. "Nnnooo, I just want to make Sokka laugh. And you. And maybe even the girls!"

"But I was hoping to laugh at Sokka..."
