Tobias and Rachel are using Lucy's morph again for the speed on a little trip down to Texas. Tobias is getting a feel for the dragon body. It's rather interesting, really. Power and grace and the ever-present hunger...

He and Rachel stoop simultaneously toward a deserted town. He's morphing almost as soon as he hits the ground.

Tobias can do that. He still has wings.

Rachel only partly registers what he's doing, swooping down and digging outstretched claws into the dirt for her landing.

She shifts to Lucy before morphing. It's just easier. And then she puts her hands on her hips and frowns at the ruined space before them, collapsed building of skin and flesh and the rotting corpses of the creatures they'd killed before.

"Gross," Rachel says.

Because this is new information, of course.
