Kate slept in, the few dreams she had were nightmares of war, and of blinding cold imprisonment. She was outside in the field near the Cooper farm, going through katas as a warmup, despite the still bandaged leg. And then taking her bow, and firing some arrows into a makeshift target (bales of hay). If she seems especially focused on the targets as she fired, a distraction would still be appreciated.

His hand wanders over her back, finding the shape of her as its his turn to deepen the kiss.

Another moan in the back of her throat as her mouth opened for him again, warm tongues sliding against each other. She arched slightly against him again, and tugged him closer to her.

He leans down, moving them slightly so she's leaning against the couch as he just kisses as his hand wanders over her back and sides.

She shifted herself against the couch to make herself comfortable, her fingers continuing to slide through his hair as they kissed. So warm, almost don't need the wrap at this rate.

Not really, no, and he moans at her hands in his hair, not daring to touch her too much so sticking with exploring her back as he kisses.

Answering moan from her, a little surprised by it all. But she found herself liking it. Liking the way his hands felt. One of the times his hand hit a spot low on her back, making her arch a little more against him.

Shouldn't do too much but things hadn't felt this good in a very long time. It was tempting.

When she arches against him, his breath changes and he moans in response, moving his hand there again.

He gently ends the kiss and kisses her cheek and neck, he doesn't want to make her unhappy but her skin is so soft.

Her head gently tilted at the kisses on her neck, her own breathing a little quicker now. Her pulse quickening against his lips.

She arched against him again more, and she bit her lip.

"Will...that feels really nice. Shouldn't move too fast but...very nice," she whispered. Clearly unhappy was not an emotion running through her right now.

He stops at her words, kissing her again on the cheek,

"Aye, na too fast."

He's not exactly sure what she means but will stop whenever she asks.

Kate's hand cradled his face, and she replied.

"Exactly... I really like you a lot, maybe more than that. Just not sure if I'm ready for anything that intimate yet. Not sure if you'd want me in that case either."

Will is rather confused and kisses her forehead,

"Kate, just wish to make ye 'appy, will stop whene'er ye say. An canna think o'any reason I wouldna want ye."

She gave him a reassuring smile, "I am happy. Haven't been this happy in a very long time in fact. Don't worry about it."

One hand is staying on her back while the other traces her face,

"Ye make me 'appy too, Kate, an we'll figure out ways to be 'appy together. Chase the nightmares away."

She smiled back, "We will. And I hope so. Both of us could use a break from them, right?"

"Aye, we could, ye've a lovely smile."

That gets kissed again quite gently this time, just a short kiss,

"Seen lots o'books 'bout, could e'en try some readin'."

She blinked at that, and her face flushed a little.

"...Thank you. And oh, books, right, certainly could do that. Sure."

His grin is much younger looking as he kisses her cheek again,

"Though could always wait on the readin'."

Soft smile at that, "As you'd like to, fine either way."

"We've time 'nough for both."

And then kisses her again, he takes his time with this kiss, trying to find out what she likes.

"Mmm..." She readily agreed, and it didn't take long, her hand clenching against his shoulder, or a pleased sound confirming to Will what was working with his kisses.

Her hand on his shoulder is nice though the squeeze rests just on a bandage so he hides the wince by deepening the kiss as his hand starts exploring her back again.

Kate realized that, and hastily tried to find an uninjured part of his shoulder or back to rest her hand on.

She briefly broke the kiss to whisper, "Sorry," And kissed back deeply, her other hand stroking his hair back as reassurance.

Sadly those are hard to find, but the look in his eyes and the kiss are his way of saying its alright.

her kisses held more worry and concern for him now at that, and some anger for whoever was responsible for hurting him so badly.

He breaks the kiss to look at her and just smile,

"Shh, I'll be well, Kate, promise."

The next kiss is deep and sure, his hand finding that place on her back then he starts to kiss her neck again.
