Well.
Gray has managed to arrive at the Cooper place, and after parking his stolen Dodge Viper beside the white Mini Cooper(ahaha the narration just got that), takes the scenic route back around to the front of the house.
He likes walking.

"What, this world?"
no subject
Shrug.
"I was somewhere else first, yes. But most recently, we came from the east."

He couldn't be from her world, could he? He's dressed weirdly, but then again he hasn't yet commented on her feet.
"Mine's called Karock," she prompts, but without much hope.

"I haven't heard of it, I'm afraid."
After the whole bit with the monochromatic girlfriend, he's got high standards for weird.

...this is intended as a statement to let him off the hook, but it comes out as somewhat melancholy. Dang.

"Sometimes it's better that way."
See: everybody and his dog knowing about Gray's Sylar days, apparently.

See also: her utter lack of apprehension during this conversation. :D?
"Be nice if there was someone, though," she shrugs. Come on, no-one's even heard of Tryst, and that's the biggest city ever
that she knows of. It's slightly disheartening when your birthplace might as well not exist.no subject
Gray prefers it when fewer people know things about him, really.

Back to her bushy-tailed (not literally; stop staring!) self: "Is your world nice?"

...
"What's it like when it is?"

Clearly she is asking all the wrong questions, here.
""
no subject
"You didn't know."
Which is a version of it's all right, at least.
no subject
"It's nice here, generally," she offers.
no subject
"So I've found."
no subject
"There are monsters, but not here. Except for the baby ones."

In any case: "And there are lots of people, and free food, and nobody murders anybody else."
These are all, in her experience, good things.
no subject
She seems to be the extroverted sort.
And lack of murder's always good.

--HANG ON.
"Oh-oh-oh, have you ever had a grilled cheese sandwich?" Because if you haven't, she's making you one now. Whether you like it or not. "Cheese on bread and then you put it in a really hot box and it's gorgeous."
no subject
Good God, she's so cheerful.
no subject
"Do you want one? I can make some. I can use all the boxes in the kitchen now." The little one that just makes toast, and the big hot one, and the little round hot things on top, and the big cold one, and and and! Jona has MAD SKILLS.
no subject
Yes, all right, he's mocking her, but it's mostly good-natured mockery.
Mostly.
"And no thank you."
no subject
"When you change your mind, just ask," she offers. "I'll owe you one."
Owe him one for what? Are you mad? Grilled cheese sandwiches need no excuse!
