There is a red girl in black leather crouching beside the pond/lake at the back of the farmhouse. She trails a single finger through the water, but is always quick to pull back when a tiny, baby tentacle looks like it's about to reach for her. But she seems to be enjoying herself and that may even be a slight smile curling her lips.
So. Red girl, poking water.
Come poke back?
(OOC: apologies for extreme lameness and disappearance. F'REALZ. :( )

This must be rewarded.
Apparently, rewards for smiling at Snow include Snow sitting down a little ways away, wrapping her arms around her knees, resting her chin on same, and beaming some more.
Who said they had to be complicated things? Fft.

Perhaps Thorn is a once-off spirit. Snow's met a few of those! And presumably there's a once-off spirit for "being pointy and cutting things a lot", just like there can be for everything else.
Extra beam! Snow's proud of having given Thorn the right name!

...yes?

YAYFRIENDS.
Snow loves friends! She has TONS.
...
She can't find any of them lately, but NOT TO WORRY. The fact that half the world has been stepped on by large scary things is TOTALLY EXPLAINABLE.
...
Yeah.
Possibly the drifting-off-pensive-look thing that Snow's got going on here is not so much of the good.
But after a moment she blinks, looks at Penance, and smiles brightly again. New friends, after all! Here-friends. Red-and-sharp-and-pointy friends. Interesting friends.
:D

Well, really :)!
Setting her rose down carefully (which really consists of letting it roll off her palm carefully), Penance leans forward over her knees to set a finger gently against the dirt.
Dangerously pointy fingertips are excellent for drawing pretty pictures in the mud.

Snow is utterly captivated. She even leans forward a little and brushes her hair out of her eyes, the better to see the picture happen.
Careful, of course, not to get near Thorn's dangerously pointy bits.
